I was told if your planning to up the horse power you have to change the DCT clutch? Otherwise it will slip on or after 650hp?

We can also tune the gearboxes to have a higher clutch pressure, this fixes the cluch issues.

Hi, what does this cost typically? Are you using BM3 tune?

Hi, We write our own tunes custom to the car. This particular car was equipped with a set of 200CPSI Catted downpipes and a Stage 2 custom tune by Chip Performance. Considering the purchase and installation of the downpipes and the tune, you would come down to about €5000,- (+/- $5300).

Yes, that is correct! The OPF has been left intact on this car to meet the emission requirements in The Netherlands! :)

Hi Betim, unfortunately this isn't possible yet. The ECU's produced after this date are protected in such a way that there is barely any effective way to tune them without adding an additional module.

A company called boot mod 3, which do amazing tunes for BMW can do a bench unlock on the ECU for free if you buy their software. This requires you (or the mechanic installing it) to send the ECU to Toronto for a week. I had to do it for my 2020 M4 after BMW reset the system and did a software upgrade.

Technically yes, modifying any part of your car will void the warranty. In practice we've noticed that everything is a bit more nuanced.
