i understand. i loc'd my daughter at 5. she begged me when she noticed i didn't have to detangle my hair anymore with my locs. every 2 months i ask her if she still likes her locs. she says she loves not having to comb her hair or get braiding styles. she loves for hair to be free and less likely to detangle.

@@rayvonshaw4162 je comprends. j'ai donné à ma fille 115 petites tresses. j'ai acheté un outil de verrouillage pour les cheveux. chaque mois, après lui avoir lavé les cheveux, j'utilise l'outil pour resserrer les racines. vous devrez regarder une vidéo KZbin si vous utilisez cette méthode. ma fille a ses serrures depuis 3 ans maintenant et elle les aime toujours.

My daughter will be getting these micro locs . I been been thinkin on it and I’m feeling like it’s what’s best. I’ve explained it to her as well and she is overjoyed right now not having to worry about combing her hair and getting it done too much. She has alot of hair too and when it’s time to do it it’s a lot of work and stress on us both . I’m actually loc’n mine too soon but I’m like so ready to get started on hers next wash day. Her father will just have to deal with it because I’m the one that has to do that hair not him 😩

Same my daughter is two none verbal. She hasn’t been officially diagnosed because she’s too young I know the early signs enough to know though. she hates the combing and parting. I hate putting her through it.

We locked my daughter’s hair at 7, she wore them for a year and wanted to comb them out because she wanted them smaller. However she wanted to wear it in her natural state for a while. It’s been two weeks and we both remembered why we locked it in the first place 😂. So we’ll be locking hers back up this week at a smaller size she prefers

My daughter’s head is really tender headed too I try so hard be gentle but she doesn’t care as long as I’m not touching her head😭I wanna do micro locs but afraid they could be too heavy

She could but it’d look different and it’s looser almost straight lick so it’d take a while to loc up. I’ve seen ppl with bone straight hair form locs just takes longer

You should have never did anything to her hair.. thats a very high maintenance hairstyle for a child.
