There's a book of short stories by W. P. Kinsella set on a Native reserve (later turned into the excellent movie Dance Me Outside) where one family has two Margarets -- Big Margaret and Little Margaret. They had so many kids that when they got to the hospital, the dad was a bit drunk and didn't remember they already had a Margaret at home (slightly more tragic ending to that story, though).
