Clip headphones are the most comfortable headphones out there, they feel so light and FREE, because you are not completly walled off as your are with in in-ear headphones nor do you feel like you are in a vacuum (as ears are also there for balance etc. and having them shut down so tight is just ridiculously uncomfortable even if they fit well otherwise). I actually do have a pair of them as magnetic bluetooth headphones and they don't feel to uncomfortable in the regard of force / pressure they produce but like i said being sealed of, even after trying and trying to adjust just sucks. You want to keep control of your sorroundings to a degree.. as well as a light - sportfriendly solution. After coming from many clip on headphones i felt somewhat forced to go and try other types as they JUST dont produce them, espacially at the bluetooth market (not a single one). I got a pair of overear bluetooth headphones and like i said the in-ear, plus something called Avantree bluetooth headphones (which are SO light, which makes you all the more perplexed as to how they managed to make them still so uncomfortable... *#*!... could have been a flat soft design with soft over ear clips but nope, let's hold them on your ear using pressure and create weird huge ear pieces that somewhat more or less fit on the outside of your ear, bravo designers of the world :) But i don't wanna complain so much if nothing else that will leave me room to design such beautiful headsets on my own. Now i am back to clip headphones despite really liking the bluetooth functionality. It's nice to hear about these "yuin G1A" altough i don't have the money for them now. But good notice for the future!!! Thanks :) But i am very happy about the "Sony MDR-Q68LW" too, them i could effort and that retractable cable design is awesome (altough there'd be a better option...) I don't really like the Koss.... yes the sound's alright but they are SO huge and ugly and don't really sit tight on my ears. And the sound doesn't make SUCH a huge difference that it is worth it giving up so much comfortability. I've had the Philips SHS4700 before and they aren't really that good either, don't like the fit as they are too tight no matter what you do. Sound was if i remember not of the charts either but honestly i don't remember, wouldnt buy them. I have the Panasonic RP-HS46-K right now. Maybe the best i had so far, altough not worlds apart. They fit nice and light and slim and the sound is nothing brutally amazing but still okay. BUT there's one thing you have to take into account when you listen like almost everyone nowadays with your smartphone. They have different audio jacks yes and i honestly don't know just how much the difference there can be BUT in the end i think the much bigger difference will be made by a systemwide equalizer. My phone (Lenovo K6) has this built in app called Dolby Atmos and without it, the sound is really rather weak, even though my audio player (rocket launcher) has a pretty long range equalizer built in it too, but it just can't be as good as the Dolby Atmos Equalizer (they don't work together either) with it's Surround Virtualizer. With this and only with this, the sound of the Panasonic RP-HS46-K is much more powerfull and has more dynamic to it altough of course still far away from anything high hifi (obviously but still way better as without). I don't really need them for bluetooth headphones, as they tend to be better anyways but as the clip headphones i've tested just lack punch, i think this is now an important feature on my smartphone list. OH i also had the Panasonic RP-HS47E-A as my first ones. And i love the look and they where the most comfortable but a tad to lose so they might come of when doing sports and the sound wasn't as good as the RP-HS46-K and also they broke down rather quick (every time! I had i think 3 of them over the shortest time). I look back at them with a loving heart but the breaking issue just made them not a wise decision. Meanwhile my RP-HS46-K hold out better. So TO SUM IT UP: I think >below< the mentioned Sony MDR-Q68LW, the RP-HS46-K is the most balanced clip-headphone (as it's slim and comfortable) but i would suggest getting an Android Phone (if that's your audio source) with something like Dolby Atmos (built in Equalizer) because that makes such a huge difference on those clip headphones which usally lack a bit of punch. I would still go with the Sony MDR-Q68LW even for the extra money and maybe someday with the yuin G1A but despite the love for them not the Koss (because to big + ugly + not good fit due to the huge size) EDIT: Oh i forgot. My Bluetooth Headphones from AWEI (magnetic) have these rubber hooks and with them you will have no problems doing all kinds of sports, they won't hurt (my ears) nor do they ever fall out. But for lighter activitys and for free listening i simply much prefer Clip ;). Enjoy guys have a good day !!

I do not like IEMs aswell but I still wanted to get into them. I found this eartip called 'Xelastec' and it solved the 'falling out' problem since its grippy as heck. Its a dirt magnet, though, so I have to clean it regularly. Clip-ons will always be my favorite when it comes to recreational listening. Not only are they superior in comfort, they inherently sound better aswell. I'm looking to mod my Clip-ons to have female MMCX so I can use them as TWS clip-ons!

Thanks for doing the list, I hate iems, but every online store only lists iems under "sport headphones"

Might be nice if you listed the details like the model names in the description to make searching easier.

I have been using the Skull Candy ones with the TrippleLock fit. They are still in ear, but for me they don't fall out. I have the wired and bluetooth version. First headphone I found that doesn't fall out/off during hard workouts. www.skullcandy.com/earbuds/wireless-earbuds/XTFREE.html?cgid=1210&color=Black&skdy_mic=Universal#mIw5cp0J0zlXHYMO.97

I cannot stand things in my ears in general. It honestly infuriates me that most of the small, portable options are just IEMs.
