Clip Studio Paint: How to use any brush for blending!

Omg all these artists on KZbin with thousands of followers can’t even explain stuff right and this man did a perfect tutorial I’ve been struggling so much trying so many different blending techniques but realized the reason why they always look bad is because they never actually teach you how to use any blending tools especially since half the time they don’t even use the one that is provided in Clip Studio Paint props to this guy he’s extremely underrated

This has nothing to do with your positive outlook towards the video, nor your personal experiences. It's you undermining other artist on this platform towards their lack of explanation, because you can't seem to grasp what they are explaining, so you come on here and put "Omg all these artists on KZbin with thousands of followers can’t even explain stuff right" thats not the KZbinrs problem, thats a "You" problem. If you say you're bad at grasping information, why add that line in your comment? You put your opinion on here, not everyone will agree. Relax and take the response and move on.

Thanks for making this video! I have been trying to switch over from Photoshop, so there's some minor changes about Clip I'm not aware of or used to. Blending was definitely on the top of the list though, because I really struggled with getting that crisp and soft look, so it looked like I wasn't blending at all, but actually I would repaint over an area over and over again to try and blend. But it took way too long because I was trying to figure it out... I also bought a brush pack in the hopes it would help, but they were only slightly better. Switching between two brushes in the subtool is such a huge time saver!

This is an amazing tip, I recently discovered the Blend Tool, but your reccomendation on using any brush as a blender is way more interesting than the original Blend tool, and it's much more what Clippy actually can offer, as one of his strongest powers is how much you can personalize their brushes. i see my problem now, if the layer is vector, then it won't work the way you want it when using blender, so just use a regular layer lol.

for those who want a pure blending brush, as in 0 color from the color wheel, and you're just blending existing colors, turn "Amount of paint" AND "Density of paint" to 0.

I hate CSP. It should have blender tools by default. I'm going back to using my old Corel Paint software. CPS is awful 😖.

It's good to use whatever tools you like the most yourself. The reason I bounce between csp and photoshop is because of their individual functionalities that I like more when working on different kinds of things.
