It's practice that generally makers avoid people consuming food and drink unless it's desperately needed to be authentic for the scene as it cuts down on reshoots if the actor chokes etc

100% of Bruces lines were overdubbed. The off camera stuff is obvious. It's very nice and unprecedented actually that so many people were keeping his secret toward the end. He made over half a dozen movies this way. Hats off to his loyal friends!

@@JSTNtheWZRD Don't know but years. If you watch his last half dozen movies he is never on camera talking for more than a couple seconds. When you hear him talking off camera, he is just repeating from his ear prompt. That plus some clever editing and they fooled us.

@@surfinmuso37 To be fair, most of movie critics are failed actors. But I will give a small detail: a theatrical actor can be a movie actor, the opposite is very difficult. Saying that, Stallone and Travolta can film moments of 2 minutes, which is far superior than 20 seconds of current actors. Happy new year from Switzerland by the way.

This is very true. Been poisoned 3 times, twice by the same woman. She was hot as the sun tho and I was young and dumb. One time a motorcycle club had a waitress drug me and I had to out run the situation to survive. I woke up in a stolen car in a field 5 miles from the bar. I had apparently drove through bar ditches and fences, for quite awhile. Ya asked why would ya take a drink from someone who is probably trying to poison ya? When I was young the answer was because “FUCK YOU”. I thought I was tougher than even poison…. Dumbass-man. One day, I told one of my neighbors that HIS roof, had WAY more leafs than mine. He got so angry, that he ran into his garage and started rifling through the shelfs on the wall. Finally, he came back out... wielding 2 HUGE KNIFES! 😬 He wanted to cut me in 2 halfs! One of our lifes was about to come to a violent end. Fortunately, both our wifes heard what was happening, and they were able to get him and I to calm ourselfs down. NOW, we're best buddies. Him and I are thick as thiefs! In fact, just this morning, we drove to Oklahoma City. We're going to the Paycom Center to watch the Timberwolfs vs Thunder game. To think, none of this would have happened if it weren't for.....leafs. 😉 Cheers 🍻

Travolta is pretty good here. Bruce's faustian bargain was to get every whim, appetite & perversion indulged between 1988 and 2020 and then decline rapidly. Not the worst of faustian bargains. It's just so tired. Like DeNiro playing another mob boss. It's the 70s 80s & 90s stuck in an endless loop. They should find something interesting for Travolta to do.

I am sorry. There are too many of these movies where a 50 or 60yo + Bob Odenkirk, Denzel Washington, Liam Neeson or Keanu Reeves are playing 30 yo Bruce Lee. And now Bruce Willis. Even Tom Cruise's relatively youthful looks are giving way to Father Time (like we all will). It gets to a point where this becomes an Expendables movie. Why do we lampoon Steven Seagal for it when these other actors from the 80s are not too far off from his silliness?

@@MG007. you evidently know nothing about Bruce! he made his money from acting, so he didn't need to enter tournaments at a time when fighters made very little money (promoters made all the money) he hit with the power of a heavyweight and he was so fast they actually had to slow film down so you could see what he was doing (only man in film history)! these are facts ring fights vs real fights is my entire point, Bruce was no more a sports fighter than a marine - he knocked professional fighters 6 feet across a room with a 1 inch punch, a full force punch would k*ll

I don't know why, but this version of Travolta is extremely enticing...it's so different than what I've seen him in before, as he's always so "loose cannon, yet chill badass" Here, it seems like he busted into something else, and it's something that he could've only expressed by pairing it with older age...and now I really wanna watch it.

Bruce has a degenerative neurological disorder, yes. He has had symptoms for years now. If you notice, Bruce says very very few words on camera, most of his dialog is dubbed later when he can just read it or recite it from an in ear speaker.
