Here I am again; 6 years later and still in awe of this wonderful tutorial! I really love short, yet feminine cuts like these. A woman can wear minimal makeup and jewelry and still look feminine.

I got one word for this video, "AWESOME". Thank you so much. This video was not fast forwarded, you explained each step in detailed, you told us what guard to use each step of the way, you explained the importance of combing while cutting, you pointed out each zone, you pointed out how to use the side of the clippers and trimmers, you explained the blending from one zone to the other. You are awesome Tim, and I love the perfection, because I'm a perfectionist myself. You are in a class all by yourself when it comes to your tutorials. PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING!!!!. OUTSTANDING!!!!

Thanx for your video. We live in Central America and no one here seems to know how to cut black women´s hair. Some idiot ruined my girlfriends hair. I cut my own hair but I´ve never cut a black womans hair, or anyone elses for that matter. I watched your video 3 times, took my clippers and her trust, and man she looks great. I was a little afraid it might turn out masculine but that tip about the sideburns in a C shape and softening the back really did it. You saved my night dude. We´re going out! I fully agree with EMACK´s comment. God bless you man. She went from crying to TAKE ME SOMEWHRE! in an hour thanks to you!

I really like this video, they don't make barbers like this in 2017. I have tirelessly search for barbers that can cut. women hair. I have went to three barbers that lied about crafting a woman hair. I had one barber left my hair like it was going bald, another barber gave me a hard hairline, the last barber cut all my hair off. Barbers don't listen they cut your hair the way they want it cut. Majority of them are unprofessional. Instead of spending money on a ugly hair cut, I decided to invest in some good clippers and do it myself. Practice makes perfect.

Same here I just went to go get my haircut recently. I was very disappointed with how the back was, and he had the nerve to give me a damn hairline. They really don't listen then I went to the hair salon in Wal-Mart same situation Had before. It's hard to find people that actually knows how to do hair.

Hi Timothy! I refer back to this video regularly for pointers that I might've missed, and it's been very helpful for me in my quest as a barber of becoming better with my fading/blending techniques and giving a softer feminine cut for my female clientele. You're clear, precise and without any unnecessary content...would enjoy new instructional KZbin post from you as well. I follow you on IG, and am looking forward to you returning to share your expertise on this platform.

MAN OH MAN! Watching all the other videos on here with all the loud rap music and they cut so fast that you can't learn from it. Some people don't understand that you were actually trying to instruct.....I can go to a barber shop if I just want to watch someone cut hair....I wanted someone to teach a little! I don't have time for barber school at this point in my life but I have a passion to cut hair so I decided to learn a few things from KZbin! And YOU are THE BEST! Again PLEASE find time to do more videos! THIS IS WHAT KZbin IS ALL ABOUT...FOR PEOPLE TO LEARN...THANKS

Timothy McIntosh Jr. Hi Timothy you did such a great job. Im a woman who's is natural and I've been trying to get a cut like this for the past 3 1/2. No matter what barber shop I go to, they never seen to get the blending right and leave nu cut looking masculine. And I always leave dissatisfied. I know you're located in the Carolinas. Do you know any barbers in the New York City area that you would recommend? Thanks again

AWESOME JOB!!! I have a tapered cut myself and I wish I could get a nice cut like this. I would be in heaven. Everyone that I go to seems like they don't know how to cut the way they were taught in school. They just do their own thing forgetting that it isn't about them but about what their clients want. Majority of the time, I'm dissatisfied with my cut after I leave the shop. Hopefully one day I get an awesome barber like you.

My hair was very short back in July 2011, and shortly after that I moved to Saudi Arabia for a job. As my hair grew out I began looking for someone to maintain that cut, but there was no one who knew or was willing to cut short hair for women. In that culture, women are expected to have long hair, and it is forbidden for women to go to male barbers. Women also must keep their heads covered in public, so I used that as an opportunity to let my hair grow. Indoors, I wore headbands and little skullcaps to hide the many awkward phases of short to long growth. Now my hair is pretty long, but I yearn to be able to get AND maintain a cut like this as I did when I lived in the States. Consider yourselves lucky!

Pam Smith Check out The Makeover Guy on You Tube. He is great with all types of looks. His clients are White women, and he makes them all look great. Another guy who does really extraordinary cuts on White women is a Dutch man named Theoknoopkapper, also on You Tube. I can see that you don't care about the race of the stylist or model, but I mention race only because it is easier to visualize a style when the people in the video have your same hair texture and features. Cheers!

Raina Young I agree! A great haircut like this does it all. It's not like you have a cut, then a style. No. The cut IS the style, so it's gotta be on point. This is so sharp! I also love the model in that she has strong, interesting features, yet she is totally feminine and beautiful.
@rainayoung68389 жыл бұрын
Right, any/everyone cannot wear this cut. Personally I do not think that a cut or natural fro can be copied. It must be "tailored to fit" especially with us women but only an ARTIST can capture & reveal the personality of that woman in her haircut. That's what makes it so UNIQUE and ELOQUENT. It's suppose to grab your attention and stand out. (in a positive light) I Love It.

I wish I had the money to have this very talented man come to Saudi Arabia every two months to cut my hair. You should see the horrid short haircuts on women there. Saudi women have thick, beautiful raven tresses, but the minute hair is cut short it looks very unflattering and masculine. Part of it is the tradition of women keeping their hair long, and women are not allowed to go to male barbers for cultural reasons. I wish he could come and give regular tutorials like this one for female stylists. I would be there!
