There is a tactical element here. The Joker is brilliant. When Batman attacked Axis chemicals to destroy the poison he used the Batmobile. Ground assault. The Joker had the high ground and escaped by Helicopter. So Joker attacks on the ground and Batman has the high ground in the Batwing. Where does the final show down happen? Up high in the church.

The sad part about what went on with the parade is that the people of Gotham City pretty much came on the Joker's promise of free cash he'd give out in the streets and get a good time out of it. Then you take a good look at the cash on the 4:40 mark and you realize that he was basically giving away fake money. The people pretty much died for nothing and the Joker's the one who had a good laugh, as brief as it was, before Batman showed up. 💀💀💀💀💀

Can't TRUST the Internet. Wanted to find out the original of the 89 Batmobile. Three results: 67 Impala, Corvette, and Oldsmobile Cutlass covertible. Which is it? Being a gearhead, I'd say the 67 Impala was more legit in the findings. The specs seem right. 327 V8, correct wheel base, all lowered for the Batmobile contour. As for that car, I've wrenched on Impalas with 409s and 350s. The baby brother was the 305, both in Impalas and the Caprice. The Batmobile's 327 is not original, although you can install such a similar small block. Everything else seems up to spec on the Batmobile otherwise. Both Ford and Jaguar trials for Batmobile failed. GM got the green flag. Yes, the Olds and Vettes came with similar engines, but I smell Impala on this car.
