The problem is when Jaylen has a bad game he gets highlighted but when he’s good it gets brushed off. The whole Celtics media goes at him even when he played well but when Tatum plays bad it’s a quick talk and no reports

EXACTLY!!! They’ll spend 5+ mins on Jaylen for a bad game still finished w 19 and 10 but when Tatum was a NO SHOW against the warriors on national television AFTER being a ghost all finals they barely spent any time on it and talked about the teams bad play…. It’s actually ridiculous

At various times a coach has to make tough decisions for the better of the team, sometimes its mental manipulation to get the effect you want and sometimes its as simple as getting in your teams grille at halftime. Or maybe benching or limiting minutes or running boring ass routines in practice that fix game time mistakes.. whatever.. My point is that I'm not sure Mazzula has the temperament or mettle to help this talented team be GREAT. At this point I truly believe this team is coaching itself 80% of the time.

Coach could like ask for a timeout and like draw a simple play for a big guy to get a high % shot in a paint, or a postup for tatum or brown closer to the basket, a play to move the ball, to reset them, with presure on the ball full court after the opponent inbounds, all thi to get them up like before the water gets in their ears, and with magic out of timeout we turn the ball over and its a 1 point game 20 seconds left... thats not good sign for a coach

Haliburton is incredible man. I think this losing streak is mainly due to 3PT regression, probably nothing to be concerned about. But long-term Tatum has to get that assist rate up, 4 a game just won't get it done as a primary ball-handler with 32.5% USG

The reason behind the last two Ls is literally the selfishness of Jaylen Brown, I can’t believe this guy still thinks he is better than Tatum. I think Boston thought they were on Golden State’s level and after getting stomped both in the Finals last year and also again during their first matchup of the season they are trying to figure out where they really stand in the east cause they clearly struggle with Orlando and Cleveland as well… They don’t believe in themselves after that Golden State loss…!!!

The Celtics are broken and they need Ime back… I don’t like the offense first Celtics defense wins Championships offense is exciting but kills motive for effort on defense when your doing well offensively…!!!! The Warriors broke the Celtics after that loss… But after losses to NY & Cleveland I was not as high on the Celtics as the media was…!!!! And living and dying by the 3 is a remedial and counterproductive ideology…!!!!! 💯 it’s just dumb to jack up 50+ 3’s a game and hope your not having an off shooting night after all these losses you would think that the Coaches would attempt to draw up some plays where we’re not relying on a prayer from 3…!!!!!

this team is crap mentally its always been. in finals they fell apart, same as they are falling apart now. only thing I dont know is what exactly triggers the spiral. Its also hard to see what gets them out of it. they were playing like crap for brad for over a year, for udoka for months... its not a coach thing obviously, but Mazulla is not helping for sure. We have a coach that has no idea what to do with timeout? Why not just bring in a professional coach . Put in some demands for a next coach, like that he coached a pro team before, preferably in NBA if possible winning record... just to try it, like Mark Jackson or Kenny Atkinson whats even worse is that even new guys fall in the same rut , I thought Brogdon could help with it but he isnt

When other teams crank up the intensity, the Celtics are no longer a great team. Same old shit, they look great when everything is easy and open shots are falling, but when the game gets tough they come up short. We've seen this over and over again. But this might be a new low. After getting beat by the magic twice you have Aaron Nesmith flexing on you and you can't muster up some pride to get a win on your home court? really?
