So, we've got a beautiful silver dial here with the Arabic numerals every five minutes and then the Roman numerals for the hour hand coming around as conventional. Beautifully cut hour hand, simple minute hand and then the tail of the hour hand onto the silver disc gives you the time of the alarm here. Dan Quare London, beautiful chamfered name plate and then at the top here you have the strike/no strike, which can be set with the key here to give quiet during the night. Surrounding the dial is this wonderful dial plate which is pierced and engraved, again most beautiful fine engraving, these lovely floral swirls of the foliage and the little flowers, absolutely exquisite piece of design and creation. The detail within each of the spandrels is quite outstanding. The almost square with the chopped off corners making it octagonal and the whole executed to the highest standard by Daniel Quare. It's a beautiful, beautiful little tortoiseshell traveling alarm clock.
