the bladder blocks the pipe so water pressure can blow the clog through. Very handy for wipes and TP clogs.... but not so good on roots.

@@rupe53 the way ive seen these used is as a first shot portable setup... hose wit ha presseruzed water can... the water can is essentially half water galf air.. like a fancy garden sprayer ... the bladder expands thuse why only a shot of back flow till the bladder expands and blocks the pipe.. then the presurized water can push down the clog.. like mentioned great for wipes or general clogs but wont clean scale or eat up roots like a proper jetter or a drum machine... if this works it beats carrying that spartan down the ateps.. and seems like most hf donald's customers dont want to pay the extra cost to get the drains jetted out to the mains..
