Is it just me or does Lois mispronounce Lex as "Lect"? I never understood why they had her pronounce his name like that here. Perhaps the result of editing and the audio was cut too soon IDK but ive been wondering this since the very first time i watched this episode back then

Can someone explain to me how does Lex know about Lois and Clark? When he died they weren't a couple yet.

The clone has all of Lex memories and have been spying on Clark so he can find a way to take him down. Last time it didn’t work, cause Clark dusted himself off and moved on. But notice when he says with age comes wisdom. He have seen what happened to Clark when Lois disappeared and they weren’t even romantically involved, so now he knows it will totally break him. That’s why he tells Clark that he world will loose faith in their hero, cause he knows that Clark will choose to save Lois first.

It's because this Lex was a clone, he has all of the real Lex's memories. So did Alexander/Conner.
