Clomid gave me visual side effects when I tried to restart my HPTA. Had trouble adjusting to light from dark low light spaces. Freaked me out but it went away. Worst decision was trying to go “natural” after 5 years on TRT. I did it with HCG and came back to baseline but felt like crap. I’m back on TRT and have come to terms and ok with knowing that it’s for life. I’m 44. Hope this helps someone out there.

I was put on Clomid for low t and I was on it for 2 years almost 2.5 years. I explained to the doctors that my symptoms were not going away even though my numbers were climbing. They juat said that cant be true. Feela to me like doctors are just giving you meds tgat will make you have to go beck to them so that you need to keep on paying them large amounts of money for a 5 min consultation every time. Talking about endocronologists because someone has to pay off there bentley or ferari. Finally found a normal GP that is willing to do trt.

I just got put on clomid yesterday due to me being young (25) but having a 34-36 bmi, low T (114) and some other health issues back in jan 2022. I started weight lifting again, being more active and just more cautious what I eat. Have lost 7lbs on my own but bmi still at 30, my testosterone has gone up to 283 but average make my age is about 500, so my doctor has put me on clomid 50mg every other day. I also started sexanda yesterday with the clomid, but sexanda will be everyday till it runs out. My doctor said weight is the main concern so that’s why she had my jump on it. I really don’t want to be dependent on clomid. Maybe I’ll just take it every 3 or 4 days. Overall I’ll keep updating on this comment. Thanks for the info!

I had a very late puberty and also slow transition too. My body just developed oddly even though you wouldn't know from looking at me. I have little hair on my body. Oddly, my total testosterone is high and I build muscle easily. Total test is around 850 out of 1200. Free testosterone has tested below the normal range both times I had it tested. Estrogen is good, it appears to be high SHBG and albumin which is a tricky thing to fix. I think I'm going to try clomid.

​@Sam Soul Yeah all my bloods are decent now, prior to TRT my estradiol was 50-70 which is high.. I then started clomid and it went down. After some time i took break from clomid to see if "clomid reset" worked, it didn't, so since I already have secondary hypogonadism i tried to TRT with test for a bit, tried different protocols but my estrogen was getting high and i was getting DHT side effects, so i went back to clomid only and now my test level is pretty much same as on TRT with testosterone and estradiol is 30-33 - which is perfect for me. Also I my haematocrit went down from about 50-51% to 47 which is is good as it's in mid range

​@Sam Soul Yeah my test has been 700-900 just on 25mg eod clomid. Prior to TRT my test was 250-300 for 4-5 years.. Best way to tell if it's primary or secondary hypogonadism is to do a blood test for LH and FSH. If LH and FSH or mainly LH is low then it's more like secondary hypogonadism, if LH and FSH are high but low test, then it's primary hypogonadism most likely. Clomid only works with secondary hypogonadism when ur LH and FSH is low, with historic gear usage it can be either, as when on gear the HPTA shuts down and balls too, so one of them or sometimes both might not fully recover.. But I believe at your age it might be best to use test, you can also add in some HCG so that ur balls activate. I'm only using clomid because I plan to have a kid soon, after that I'll start using test at around 200mg for better gym performance lol When i used test at 150mg per week for a while, my test was like 1400-1500 which was pretty good, cruising at 200mg should be good too

I think that's what had happened to me. I took clomid along with ½ pill anastrazole well that just crashed my E & my libido, erections, emotional & a few other minor side effects, but I was starting to take clomid because of testicular atrophy & I was trying to get them up to size again. So I stopped taking clomid along with the anastrazole. I am now back to optimal levels & feel great 💪🏼after 3 weeks

I was on clomid for 1 month before TRT. Crazy dreams, which makes sense because this drug does work in your brain. Full testicles, increase libido, helped keep some muscle mass. Not lifting because of lockdown. No sides, was only on for a month. I had Prostate surgery, 5 months ago. I feel TRT is a safer alternative, that is why I went that route. Just telling my story as I go along.

All the studies I've seen on clomid show good results even a study after 3 years and 77% of the men still reported good results. A lot of people seem extremely worried about the symptoms but severe side effects are actually rare. It's not for everyone but it does have its place saying that doctors just prescribe it for legal reasons is absolutely ludicrous.

I'm currently on clomid for TRT and i've been on it for like 1.5 years. It was not doctor prescribed and i'm doing it solely on my own so take my experience with caution. I had a normal testosterone to begin with, around 550ng, i took firstly 12.5mg 3 times a week and my test became 900ng, i bumped up the dose to 25mg 3 times a week when on a SARM to offset the suppression and i bring it back down when i'm off. Honnestly i noticed better libido on it, no visual side effects and maybe some occasional mood swings? (not too sure about it since i'm naturally that way anyway), overall, i think i have benefitted greatly from it because i have no will to start injectable TRT at a young age (25) because i would like to keep my fertility going for atleast another decade.

rafael lopez gamito not really, estrogen on clomid isn’t a problem usually. It only boosts your natural test and estrogen so nothing supra physiological that would give you gyno or something that severe, at worst you might get it high enough to cause you some minor mood swings, bit it stabilizes after a few weeks.

rafael lopez gamito it would be quite alright, i’ve read a few long term studies of people taking 25mg everyday for up to 2 years with no side effects, but i would suggest you get some bloodwork done 4 weeks after starting to take it. I doubled my test levels with just 12.5mg 3 times a week and i’ve read an anecdotal report of someone doing the same with just 12.5mg once a week, so you might not even have to take 25mg 3 times a week and you can run it virtually your entire life at that low of a dose.

I started it recently and results are awesome except libido and ed. But physical energy , mental energy and cognitive abilitites are much better. So, firtst of all it might be not good for libido. Also it harms liver. I personally started feeling pain in liver just two weeks after i started. But I have to say my first doctor prescribed really big doses (100g/day first two weeks, next two weeks 50g/day and later 50g/once in two days. Second doctor told me i might finish up with "steroid hepatitis " if I keep it long term. And told me about case of a guy who is in hospital with liver and he had jaundice (not sure if it is the name. Yellow face). Also he said it can result in osteoporosis. Mentioned that guys in mma who had broken tibia (Mcgreggor?) used clomid for some time because they can pass doping control with it while their bones were becoming weaker (thinner). After that I had a talk with third doctor :) And he confirmed that clomid isn't something you should use long term (even low doses). So their advice was to use external testosterone. And it's safer to start with gel. If it doesn't work - to use some injections. SHBG - second doctor mentioned that SHBG increases on clomid (which is my case also) and it will be lower on testo. My estrogen increased which as he says also quite common for clomid. Those two reasons for worsened libido in this therapy. And some other component in clomid is also a reason. So would be interested in any experience in that question of you guys and opinions you could hear from your doctors. There are not so many qualified doctors who use testosterone therapy in their practice (except cases when you are close to zero :D), so any good info is worthless

Clomid got my levels back up and that also helps with weight loss. I also take ozempic for weight loss and let me tell you my Ed is no more. If you have weight around your waist if can cause you to have bedroom problems. Stress is also a killer on a man sex life.

I have been on Clomid for almost 6 years now and at this point I am afraid to stop taking it. From ages 15-20 I had low T without ever being diagnosed. I would get home from school and sports at around 5-6pm every day. I would have to take a nap because of how tired I was, sometimes for up to 3 hours at a time. My parents said it must be because he had mono as a kid, compromised immune system etc., and that's what I always thought it was. I had a surgery on my left testicle to remove some sort of floating tumor at age 20. Non cancer thank God, just hurt sometimes when I sat down. Doctor checked my T count, and it was very very low for my age. I started Clomid at age 21 and have been on it ever since at 50 mg Mon, Wed, Fri. My balls definitely got bigger/fuller and for the first few years I had a very high libido. Currently my T is around 800 and my sperm count is High as well. As for side effects I would say that I am depressed. I no longer get random boners though out the day and have trouble keeping an erection (although I think it might be another problem because my soon to be ex-wife always hated sex and wanted me to finish as fast as possible). I am not sure what is from the drug and what is from my personal life. I do know that when I had severely low T counts I was suicidal, and I am afraid to get off Clomid to go back to that. I just wish that I could produce enough T without medicine and live a normal life.

I imagine since the receptors are no longer blocked after stopping clomid than your body goes back to its normal function. Unless you were on clomid for a long time. Same with trt. Regarding your body not producing it's own t while if trt. Once try is stopped your body goes back to baseline eventually unless you been on trt for years...I think

Hey hopefully you can answer a bit further, thank you for the eye opening info as I was just about to start taking clomid prescribed to me by my Endo. So long story short my test has been low for a while. Never above 350 and mostly sits around 200-270. Was even 150 one time. I’m a 26 year old male, bodybuilder for the last decade. I’ve never used any anabolics FYI. He decides he wants to run me on clomid for 90 days and if nothing changes, then would go into an actual TRT protocol. Would this be the “kick start” you mentioned? I used both clomiphene and enclomiphene.Both are effective at raising testosterone.Clomiphene is cheap as hell and if you take a high dose it messes with your brain (depression, fatigue) and gives you eye pain.Enclomiphene does have very low side effects,maybe none I can think of for me.No eye pain no fatigue no depression (or a lot less than clomiphene).The biggest side effect is it makes my pocket hurt because it is expensive as hell. Then there is tamoxifen which you can try and is a lot easier available.

If I were you and couldn't find enclomiphene then use clomiphene 25 mg daily (dont do 50 because it will likely make you depressed) or 20 mg tamoxifen daily. Dont forget that these drugs will cause your estrogen to spike.I personally use exemestane for that purpose but some people are against AIs.You have to make your own choice

TRT is better if low 50-70mg/week dosage brings your testosterone levels to normal range otherwise higher dosage will have same sideffects and you have to use estrogen blocker with it. @@herrrobert5340 I'm 31 and back in November I got tested and my total testosterone was at 186 ng/dl and my free was at 11.1 pg/mL. I was put on 25mg of Clomid daily starting in January. When I got tested again at the end of April my total test was 893. I feel way better and it resolved the issues I was having. I personally haven't noticed any emotional changes. I had a semen analysis done in April as well and everything came back great. I wish I had one before January so I could have compared results. I'm reasonably certain that my count would have been low prior to Clomid. I hope that helps you!

I don't understand, you have high LH & FSH, but hypogonadism too. Btw I'm not a doctor or anything- below is just my theory, as follows- You have too much LH & FSH, which are probably unable to connect with the testes. As the body senses that T is not getting produced at a good pace, it'll bump up GnRH production. I think something seems to be blocking LH & FSH, causing too much of it to be floating around. And I believe that putting you on clomid will probably cause even more LH & FSH to be floating around. Well it's been >3 weeks since you posted your comment, so please update me if you've found an answer. I wanna learn.

@@theworldoftapash7425 I still take mine. You should seek medical advice. but everything should be fine. Just test that your testosterone and estrodiol are within normal limits. But I can't stress enough that you go to a doctor

Guys its only try to high up your test if you still want kids if you are trt you can forget it my doktor say we try clomid and it helps the test it was up from 8 to 26 go from 1miljoen to 3.5miljoen sperm count only what the guy say in the video first months i feel better but afther that I was back to my feelings with low test. My wife is now 13 weeks pregnant and will get trt

I took clomid for a few months to try to increase my testosterone, and it seemed to work pretty well. I want to have kids, so exogenous testosterone would inhibit that and I would not be able to. My T levels are showing at 43 for T, 2.3 for free T. They are incredibly low and I feel like garbage all the time.

I've just been givin Clomid 50 mg a day from a Urologist because I've been on TRT for a few years for low T. Apparently I should have went to a knowledgeable TRT SPECIALIST which I am doing now. I have a rear genetic blood disease called POLYCYTHEMIA,which can be cancerous and I've been told that TRT played a roll in bringing it out. So be careful if you're gonna take testosterone and always be monitored by a specialist. Most DR's really don't know much about Testosterone. I'm gonna hold off on the Clomid until I go to the SPECIALIST next week and do what they say. Find the top rated place in your area. Also men definitely check your Red blood cells and your White blood cell platelets along with your hematocrit.. if those are high you may possibly have Polycythemia. Polycythemia causes your bone marrow to produce too much blood which leads to bloodclots. They now take out around 16 oz's of blood a week out of me with a phlebotomy. I know they say its a rare genetic disease but no one in my family that I've ever known has had it. So keep a look out

Hi brother, could you please update me on what happened in your visit to the specialist? Also, in your blood work, how much was your RBC count? Mine is pretty high, 5.81 on a recent test. Do I qualify for polycythemia? Also I'm on clomid.

@@anishjambhorkar9908 i think my levels were about that high but it was all because of test. Genetically some of us can't take high doses of Test. I dropped the test by a lot and went on clomid and my levels are normal again. The Clomid on the other hand felt like i was going through menopause. The hot and cold flashes were crazy and I lost my short term memory it was very scary. Clomid only works while you take it. Take a very low dose if you're gonna be on it like 12.5 mg a day. Either way i stopped all that and now I'm on Hcg which seems to work better and has longer lasting effects. Look into it

@@joshuaboquet I'd go to a specialist that deals with Trt. .My urologist put me on clomid at my request and it definitely helped for a short period but if i took the Mg which was 50 mg a day they prescribed i would have horrible hot and cold flashes and severe memory loss. It effects everyone differently though. It might work for you. I'm now on hcg. Which seems to be so much better than clomid. You basically take a very small amount and inject it into your stomach. The urologist will prescribe you anything and send you on your way and they don't know much about Trt so don't go to them for help with that unless you can't afford a specialist. As far as they're concerned you just took too much Test. Find a reliable Trt clinic in your area. The problem is most of them don't take insurance. Try asking the urologist for HCG injections 3 times a week. Mon Wed and Friday. In my experience Hcg is better than Clomid. No side effects so far. My urologist wanted me to come off Test after 5 years on Trt with nothing. I've been down that road. You need a post cycle therapy and i was suprised my urologist didn't even want to give Clomid. If for whatever reason you do get Clomid, start out taking 12.5 a day. Start at the lowest dose and try to stay there if it helps. If you get side effects tell your Dr., I'd still look into Hcg though. They both make your testicles drop and raise your fertility and boost your testosterone except HCG doesn't stop working like Clomid does as soon as you stop taking it. Also look into Red light therapy. Every morning stand infront of the Red and Near infrared lights and make sure its on your testicles for about 10 minutes. Check out Blublox online they sell them. From research I've read about it, it can raise your testosterone by a few hundred points. Try these few things and definitely get information from a few different sources and its usually all conflicting. You have to find what works for you. I had a bad experience with clomid bc my Dr prescribed too much so i lowered myself down and i was fine but Clomid is very short acting this is why i say check out Hcg. Thank the Lord if your bodies aren't broken to the point that clomid for trt becomes a desirable option. I've been on clomid for 8 years and I can not live w/o it. I feel SO much better than I would if I didn't take it. I know that. Consequences? How can I have sex taken away from me? I re-injure my L3L4 every time whether I'm standing or pretending to be a bench for a dainty yet incredibly dense Filipino lady with no understanding of gravity and/or spines. Me no want snu snu iykwim. I'm a special case. I'm too crippled now to do much of anything so having what benefits clomid gives far outweighs the negative possibilities for me. I'm 42

Don’t know if you are planning to have kids… but my fiancé took D Aspartic acid for 2 months and from testing 1 month before D Aspartic acid his sperm count went from 19 million sperm to 2 months after taking D Aspartic acid he had a total of 18 sperm. ABSOLUTELY harmful according to his urologist. Be aware!
