Clone Fake Alientech kess Vs Real Genuine tuning tools - what's the difference ?

My clone had a successful recovery (on personal vehicle). I believe it is to do with the software as I was using a modded version of the cracked 2.80 ktag. The general rule is that these can sometimes fail due to faulty components. They also struggle with checksums so make sure that the checksums are done in software not in ktag. If you do a read before you write you can confirm that everything is in working order before use. The main thing is that you cannot use clones on vehicles older than 2014 there is a 90% chance that they will not work. If you are a professional looking to tune customers cars; buy the real thing. if you are an individual looking to tune your car and some mates cars; get the clone.

Because of the huge difference in price, of course the person who bought it knew it was fake.

Sadly this is not always the case, we have seen many new tuners sold an expensive fake too, always best to check, but the good news is teh Kess3 is now out and is very good, without the clone issues viezu.com/alientech-kess3/

But now I am planning to start but I am torn between kess3 and flex for reading the ecu. 2nd part of my doubt is can I use ecm to tune or will ot be another software for flex??
