Why you going for IO terminal? Is it because of new techline connect updates to prevent used modules?

IO Terminal and other tools allow you to clone or modify ECMs when the manufacturers don't allow it, some of these parts can be backordered, not available or just too expensive, also sometimes the OEM tools themselves fail at some programming, these tools gives tech more options and in some cases faster ways of getting jobs done.

Hi did you ever find out about the editing of the vin for sps programming ? i notice here in the uk the flash has the vin is in 3 locations as well as 2 pin number locations and in the eeprom the vin as you say is in 2 locations as well as 2 locations for security pin. I ve tried editing both eeprom and flash , to SPS them but still dont have success. regards Joe

Congrats on getting the IO Prong terminal! To run it on your PC, you'll need to install the software that comes with it. Once that’s set up, connect the terminal to your computer via USB, and you should be able to access its functions
