Great instructions. I'm having a problem following along on a 2015 F-150 using the VMCI VCM3. After starting the Program Module Installation and clicking OK at the turn switch on prompt (switch still off), it runs through the checking network for a bit then drops back to the menu where you select Programmable Module again. Takes 30 minutes to remove the column and, in most cases,a new motor ($25) fixes the original ESL. These things fail often. Fix it whichever way suits you.

Obdstar P50 does not do Toyotas which is a bummer because that is the most common car that people buy. I was doing a 2011 Toyota RAV4 with module number 89170-0R020. It does not work on obd so I did it in bench mode. It does not clear crash data. For another similar module, it cleared crash data on bench but now there are no fault codes but the air bag light is still on. Please let me know if you find a solution. I have autel Maxicom and I don't have Autel IM608. to read/write to eeprom Is there a cheaper option to read eeprom as I don't need Autel IM608?

I plan on buying this to clone used GM modules, but before buying i would like to know if it is possible to clone without the original ECM in the case that the original ECM is dead or has communication issues, also once the cloning is done is it plug and play after that or do you still have to program it with sps 2 or if you still have to do the immo relearn. I had similar issue,replaced all solenoids,cleaned small filter in valve block,inspected valves they were OK,very common that they loose the coating and start sticking.Replaced main filter,new oil and most importantly fitted a stand alone oil cooler,disconnect the pipes from radiator.Carried out re learn calibration and worked perfect.Dropping oil temp with separate cooler is the smartest thing to do.

I am familiar with Unraid server that I had purchased to run VM's and streaming servers in my house but lost interest and was too busy to play around with it.
