Love that the old show portrayed the clones as what they were. The perfect soldiers that wouldn't question good orders, wouldn't panic in dire circumstances, and had good reactions and timing, and above all trust in authority, even if it was to their detriment.

Eh. I prefer the clones having agency like they did in TCW. The inhumanity of an army of cloned humans being little more than drones always bothered me. TCW gave them personality and a soul. Made us care about them. Which made Order 66 all the more gut-wrenching because all that trust built between the Jedi and the clones they worked alongside and cared for was immediately destroyed with two words. Which then made them drones.

Haha I wish I was a pro 3d modeller, the only things I made in this video was the scenes/buildings, everything else was sourced online with appropriate usage rights of course. Not to say that animating someone else's models isn't bloody hard tho!

I always loved how the droid slowly methodically lines up the shot and you think yeah it's gonna be a precise sniper shot, a clones gonna die and the stand off will start, nope just goes full auto and it's a massive fire fight that ends with rocket fire.

I'm so very happy you used the Legends Alpha ARC trooper models, since that's what they are and it was just an art style rendition that they were designed this way. Still really cool and iconic designs, but for a realistic look, I'm glad you went period accurate and it shows you know your stuff.

Great start. The only advice I'm confident enough to give us that, when the gunship gets hit and it zooms to the cockpit to show the pilot and the screen shakes, have the pilot get jostled around with the bumping for extra effect

That is just awesome. I love the 2003 clone wars (and the novels) because it makes an active effort to show the sheer stark professionalism and inbred calmness that they exude. Clone wars 2008 was great, but there were times where it didn’t feel like they were the competent of army disciplined warriors that the novels and the old cartoons depicted the clones as

Awesome work. As much as I like Fives, Echo, and Jesse in the new canon ARC Troopers, I still prefer the EU/Legends ARC Troopers. The EU idea of ARC Troopers being the closest to Jango Fett in terms of independent thought and skills is cool. Especially considering they were personally trained by Jango Fett.

The Muunilinst 10 are awesome, but they weren't only communicating through hand signals. Clone helmets have an internal comm system and can be silenced to the outside world, so the troopers WERE speaking to each other, we just couldn't hear them because they were talking through internal comms.

somehow this one feels slower by the amount of frames, maybe thats why its so important to take that to account, like, some movements looks faster and dynamic when there are less frames involved other than that, fanastic job!
