As wonderful as Ewan McGregor is in the role, you gave Obi-Wan a substantially larger amount of character development, James. You’ll always be my favorite young Obi-Wan!
@animatorgamer3167 жыл бұрын
Oh my gosh I agree, I actually loved Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan but it's about 6 seasons of TV episodes versus 3 movies there's a whole lot more you can do for the character and you James Arnold Taylor did it so very well.

James is the best Obi Wan.

Couldn't agree more. Ewan was great but the movies allow only a certain amount of character development. When I think of Obi-Wan JAT is the voice I hear.

I was wondering how far that Pulp Fiction scene would go. "Say 'what' again, say 'what' again! I dare you, I gundark dare you, you scruffy nerfherder! Say 'what' one more blasted time!" That's about as clean and Star Wars as I can make it. This is how real senators like Bail Organa get all the votes. A great guest to have a two-parter. I'm eager to see who will be next.

The Clone Wars has been a huge fixture in my life, and the thing that really brought me to Star Wars, and to see two of my favorite actors (and characters) from the series on screen together brings back some great memories. Thank you for doing what you're doing.

What another great episode! as a 30+ yr vet as an RnB singer /songwriter, my relationship with the microphone is very natural, however, when Phil said that people do not realize how hard it is to read copy and sound like you're not reading... SO TRUE!! This is what I am really digging in to on my VO journey, along with stage acting, improv and VO workshops and coaching. Thank you so much for bringing us inside your studio, What a treat!

General JAT. Years ago you served in the cast of The Clone Wars and, on Facebook, graciously read my rhyming haiku tribute to the Jedi Master you portrayed, which I have assuredly never forgotten. Thank you for all the positivity and fun you bring in what you do, and for just taking the time to be a shining example of a cool guy. And I just adore this series, which is as entertaining as it is educational. Entercational, if I may (I think that's how the portmanteau goes, anyway). And so, I leave you now with another rhyming haiku. Following up on my first entry on Master Plo Koon, I now turn to the man behind the mic: James Arnold Taylor His name fits a haiku line Is he a sailor? Alright, for real now Voices and warmth without end How can this be? HOW??? My credo as a poet: Sense doesn't matter as long as it rhymes! This is perhaps why I am not a full-time poet. God bless, JAT!

Omg that pulp fiction bit was the best thing I've heard in years lol Pulp fiction is my 2nd favorite movie of all time, and hearing these characters (plo koon as well!) Was just fantastic! And the improv starwars bits replacing the PF bits was hilarious! Love this!

This video, bless their souls, reminded me how much ewe all need a continuation of that old Static Shock cartoon! I'd love to see Phil reprise his role as an older Static fighting new villains and going on all kinds of new adventures! I might be able to die happy.

Holy crap, you talking about the WB in the Galleria reminded me of when I was a P.A. for The Bachelor in 2001-2003. Their post house went through those offices where the animation took place and I'd deliver tapes there all the time.

I've never actually seen Pulp Fiction; it's never struck me as the sort of movie I'd get into, but I love how you craft those sequences at the end of each CWC. Whether's it's something as classical as Shakespeare, or something pop culture like Pulp Fiction...it's just so much fun to hear those bits done in your Clone Wars voices...btw, really nice to hear Master Plo in this one, too. Mr. LaMarr, in my opinion, really helped develop the character of Bail Organa; of course Jimmy Smits laid the groundwork but Clone Wars let us see a little bit more of the man who raised Leia, and I liked that. Thought that just popped into my head: I think it would've been fantastic for you and Mr. LaMarr to have done an audiobook reading of Karen Miller's Clone Wars book "Wild Space." I'd totally buy it! Anyhow. lol Love CWC and will be back for the next one!

Phil voiced Gambit on Wolverine and The X-Men as well . WaTX-M is another one of those solid Shows , which got cancelled by the network (Fox Kids) way too early . Also Master Yoda himself (Tom Kane ) actually voiced a really compelling version of Magneto on it too and even Cad Bane (Corey Burton) showed up as Jean Grey's Father .

Thanks, bud! I don't think that'd make much sense since I never had the opportunity to work on the show itself (as much as I would have LOVED to!), but I'm just pleased to be a part of James' CWC series at all. :) He's wonderful to work with, as you can probably guess! But thank you for the love!

Joe Hogan Art it would be a great episode on how you truly became a Star Wars artist after all, no need to associate your journey with the Clone Wars, but it makes sense to me since your style was heavily influenced by the microseries we all love! I'm a big fan and I fell your work is underappreciated and should have more exposure on any media. Keep up the great work, Joe!
