Thank you for the ride of a lifetime Misha! The car survived a 7000+km, 12 day, 5 county, 1 racetrack, road trip, without any problems at all. I will fix the tyre situation and return next year. @@GTT1988 i go elsewhere occasionally for the crash compilations - rich as fuck dudes overestimating themselves crashing their expensive cars is always a true love experience imho.. I may feel bad for most "normal" people crashing in those videos, but then again it's what they chose so i'm 50/50 on that - nobody forced them to drive over their limits on the ring.. That yellow came at just the right time, because the water temp had been rapidly increasing. The stock gauges in modern cars are usually quite heavily center weighted so when they start to go north of the centre line they're usually on their way to overheating. This is why I like an extra gauge that gives an accurate temp reading. Him turning on the aircon didn't seem to do the temp any favours either, more load on already heavily loaded engine. You'll see the gauge started to go north of centre at around 8.55 and aside from a brief cooldown during the first flag, its steadily climbing after that. Maybe he could change the coolant to that waterless stuff where its less dangerous for the temps to get high.

I checked the logg after the run 98c on water temp, The car had a new waterpump, fluids, all the belts and pullys are all new Mitsubishi parts prior to my trip down.

235 width tires are stock size for the Evo 9. The rubbing issue is not the tire size, it's the wheels that are too offset for the car. Looks good but doesn't function good on track. I used to run 255 on my Evo and some track guys will run 275 without issue.

He was careful and wanted to leave room but most likely didn't pay attention to his outside line and too much in his mirrors, bit of curb and grass and it's over. What a ride ! Always had a soft spot from square wagons ♥ As others already commented, you had quite a few mishaps recently, not that they're your fault, but from experience i know it calls for backing-off a little, just temporarly, before something really bad happens (though it was a good call to lap the GT3 shortly after the crash to get back on your horse !). We just want you safe out here Misha, to live a long and happy life with Megi and all your projects ! I'm on 285s on a stock chassis, and I don't rub. You need higher offset wheels, and hubcentric slip on spacers (10-20mm) with extended studs in the front. 18x9.5 +38 should let you run those tiny 235s without any fender rolling. Do not get low offset wheels for a CT9A, all of those people are wrong, and all of those people rub.

Great vid as always. What a car, sublime. Lowering springs and semi slicks are rarely a good combination.

CT9A estate wagon is a legend. Tbh, I thought with the noises and scratching, I feared that the car might break or disintegrate but I am glad that it held up. And wow Accident at 6:29 I hope they made it out okay.....

Seems like a tarmac spec rally car will be ideal around the Nurburgring. Monza Rally was part of the WRC. A German Rally with a N'Ring Special Stage would be very cool. They could include the South loop, too.

There's an event they do where the rally cars run the circuit the opposite direction. An onboard of a tarmac spec Opel Manta 400 or Sierra Cosworth RS500 would be an absolute treat.

Hi Misha! Great content as usual! It would be great to see a video about what people who aren't much into mechanics should look into with their old cars if it is their first time taking it to track! Would also help prevent easy mechanical failures :) Thank you for the lovely content

Rubbing sounds aside, such a quiet car for how fast it seems. I'd need more noise! haha
