The comment about the Chinese lady freaked me tf out. Ever since preschool I have told people that pictures trap a piece of your soul in time, and I never liked having my picture taken. I sat out on many class picture days, and always skipped school on the yearbook picture days. Quit teeball in kindergarten, and soccer in 1st grade because I wouldn't take team photos, but was among the best players throughoutall school. I seemed to cause chaos everywhere I went. I try to not worry about it so much anymore, but still am internally bothered by it somewhat. I've always thought it strange that I think that, and this was the first time I heard someone else mention it. Sidenote- there was a pretty cool movie called "Earthquake Bird" that kind of plays into the idea, but does some other stuff with the story. Great movie though. @Boo RADly My mother's mother is native. Half Seminole and half Cherokee, but full blooded Native and grew up in north Florida. My whole life has been west of the Mississippi though, so don't know much about it. My mothers father is a Jewish German, so I don't resemble anything close to native really, especially after the mix on my father's side as well, albeit more common over there. But that could explain some of it. Parts of consciousness is passed through blood/dna, as that is what makes us so unique from single cell organisms, we gotta get laid to pass on slivers of subconscious/instinctual knowledge. Now that I'm thinking about it, my blood is probably where my anti authority over the individual sovereignty came from, since birth, seeing as my grandparents relationships were also somewhat anti "normal" in their respective times. Though they never really struck me as people to go against the grain so to speak, as they are all fairly "normal". Thanks for the therapy sesh LMAO, peace! Going to ask my Gan (what she got stuck with being called from us children) about that.

I remember one time I was in an uncharacteristically sullen and lonely mood. I came home and my sister and her kids were there. My 4 year old niece had scrawled a picture of us together holding hands. It just came when I needed it and almost made me tear up.
