I didn't find Redbone until the Guardians of the Galaxy, now I play nothing else. It is my way to close down the night and dream of these wonderful guys. They truly had a magical gift that they shared with us, and their music will always live on with us, the fans. Your brother's spirit will always stay alive with us.

Always loved the great band Redbone and I'm now blown away by Mr Bellamy 's smooth offering of this tune..He looked so much like a dear friend i lost very recently ( He was 64 and of Native American and Italian descent) the resemblance is uncanny!❤

Love Redbone but... Tony Bellamy always had my heart. That amazing, sexy voice. His impeccable guitar playing. And those looks... My god. He was so beautiful. Wish with all of my heart that I could have met him 😥. Thank God we have is music, I listen everyday and night. Love you Tony.

I recorded this in 1985. Tony Jose Silva and myself had been playing together for a while Dave Garland came and sat in with us once in a while. Amazing times for me.

When I bought the Potlatch LP way back when, after hearing Maggie on the John Peel radio show, I thought that Tony was the coolest guy I’d ever seen, with those two strands of a tash. What a brilliant singer he was and what a great band Redbone was. Saw them live at the Royal Albert Hall when I was a teenager.

Amazing talent. I fondly remember Redbone on every K-tell record in the early seventies. Tony was an exceptionally talented guitarist and singer, who could have just as easily been in Santana, if not Redbone. Incredible music for a generation who understood the value of pure cratsmanship

Tony, you've been gone from us for so long and then Lolly joined you amongst the stars. Your voice has such smoothness and depth and your guitar playing is just so divine. I missed out on seeing you when you were still with us but everyday I can put on KZbin and watch you all play so beautifully. The Great Spirits put together a wonderful band who could tell us the truth of what had happened when the white man invaded your land. I always listen to Someday and cry but I know that the "melody will always be a part of me."

Why isn’t this on Spotify or iTunes? What a beautiful song and he had such a beautiful voice. And I liked his dancing in the entree to Redbone’s Come and Get Your Love and his performance in place of Lolly.

This is the softer side of Tony but I really loved when he rocked with songs like Niki Hokey and Rebecca. He was a powerhouse musician and singer and when he was bare chested and in deerskin pants, well, I knew I was looking at a god. ❤️❤️❤️
