It looks like all the new Eventide pedals - Blackhole, UltraTap, Micropitch - have the same hardware. The painting and labelling of the enclosures is different and the algorithms, of course.

It should be noted that this is not a multi tap delay in the truest or traditional definition. This is just a bunch of delays that can be manipulated in new ways but a multi tap sounds much smoother and richer than this design. With a traditional multi tap set up you have true control over each delays volume, time, tone and mix. These do not perform the main trick one would expect if they’ve had any prior experience with a multi tap delay. Kudos to a good job of making use of what these can do though

LEDs as buttons is very nice but actually nothing new i had a DOD Rubberneck for months until i realized the LEDs are just little knobs to dial in the rubbernecking and other stuff. This Eventide is a very nice pedal but in terms of possibilities i think i still prefer my Boss DD-200

I really liked the sounds of the blackhole pedal, too. And I love the possibilities of this. I'm curious how much it will be when it comes to the stores here.

Can you run this as a dual effect with tremolo (tri, sine, chop, etc) and reverb (delay engine with lots of taps and slurm) at the same time? Is there a way to balance the intensity of the two when running simultaneously? Does the trem come first and run into the reverb? I'd be nice to know if this will cover these two effects from a black or silver face Fender.

Can you truthfully tell us about the timbre of the taps? Despite opinions to the contrary, all digital delays don't sound the same. Are the repeats musical like the TC-2290 or korg SDD-3000, or are they more sterile?

BPM means you use tap tempo. milliseconds means you use the knobs to set the delay time.On the H9 you can also write in the BPM, which I guess you can also do with software editor for the Ultratap pedal.

the Nemesis is great, but it does multiple algorithms and serves a different purpose... this is a Multi Tap delay and I know of no other that can do what it does.

Who tf is saying that mini USB is bigger and more secure?? That's fucking dumb as fuck. The tab in mini USB is smaller and thinner, (the tab is in the device) it breaks very easily. the teeth may look more secure, but the tabs are only on one side, so it twists the connector when it's tugged. USB c was designed to be more secure than mini USB. That argument is purely "I don't like change." An argument prevalent in the guitar community.
