Eventide’s H90 Harmonizer pushes the limits of multi-effects pedals with seamless merging of Eventide’s flagship H9000 rack unit and the small footprint of the H9 Max pedal! With all 52 of the H9 Max’s algorithms plus 10 new selections and expanded controls, the H90 is one of the most versatile yet compact multi-effects units out there today. What’s more, the H90 is remarkably true to its rack mount heritage with extensive I/O and personalization options yet is easy to use, even for players who shudder at the thought of rack mount gear. Join Mitch Gallagher for an in-depth demo that just scratches the surface of this amazing pedal’s potential!

I had mine for about 7 days before selling it. If you like hi-def sheen, candy shell, polyrhythmic sequencing, micro pitch, digital delays, shimmer, reflections, swelling blooming stuff, then this is for you. If you like a gritty 12-bit reverb and analog delay with character, look elsewhere.

It looks great honestly, but stuff like this can’t help but make me think how far advanced (and a great deal) the Line 6 Helix stuff was/is.

For that kind of money, I expect it to play my guitar for me.

I've had mine for a little over a year now and haven't even scratched the surface of what it can do. It is THE most amazing pedal I have ever owned, and I've pretty much owned them all since 1963.

Sweetwater is the best if you never wanna hear someone say "I don't know", because they know everything.

Looks good, but for 900usd there are other options. A couple more hundreds and you get FM3 from Fractal (which I have) and have more options. The price is insane for what it is.

If only this wasn't years late. The H9 was so frustrating given its potential and the world has since lapped Eventide. Yes their presets always sound great, that is why people will buy these boxes, but the innovation is slow. Eventide gets away with this b/c of their strong brand and house sound.

It’s definitely awesome and powerful, but most of the unique features are things I would probably never use. So I think I will just stick with a much simpler GT1000 core or HX stomp to handle all of my modulation.

All I want to do with it is the reverse swells from Starla from the smashing pumpkins.

A great device with that stellar Eventide sound. But for less money, one could buy the Helix HX FX which has hundreds of great-sounding FX, an online editor, MIDI, scribble strips, etc.

Thanks for an excellent demo. H90 is capable enough that just explaining it is quite a task, and you did a great job of it, Mitch. Eventide consistently leads the way.

What’s amazing to me is the comments of so many on here about the price and comparing to other multi effects but fail to compare them to strymon’s when you are paying $450-$500 for one type of effect and to have delay, mod and reverb of those you have to buy three different pedals totaling
