These two are SO good and such professionals. To the audience - if you need to talk , go home! If you stay, show some respect. You have no idea what James and Bonnie have given to the world.

They want to see no talent garbage like Taylor Swift.

This is something I sang to my daughter, and to her three sons. I can’t wait to sing it to her baby girl, when she arrives later this year. ❤

Someone explain to me how you can book (expensive tickets to see and LISTEN to two great performers like JT and Bonnie, and scream, hoot chat and holler over their wonderful gift of music. I just don't get it.

Exactly why I don't enjoy live shows anymore. I'd much rather sit at home and listen in a quiet room by myself. I'd tell people like that it's not about them, it's about the performance, the performers and having respect for the others in the audience.

@@guitar1950 Yup. I last saw James Taylor on 31 October 1970 at the London Palladium I was by myself and managed to get a front and centre seat. I was less than 20feet away from him. He was opening for Matthews Southern Comfort. and the whole evening was sublime! Maybe big concerts make people act crazy, I like max 200 seat gigs.

It’s simple. This is music and the younger generation has never really been exposed to music. They’ve been exposed to garbage like Taylor, Swift, auto tune, fake drums, crappy, lyrics, crappy, melodies. Most musicians today can’t play or sing. This is why there’s so much crap rap music.

Glad I did not pay to go to a stadium show where people talk during the music instead of listening and appreciating.
@deltonkillen8024 Жыл бұрын
That is irritating as hell isn't it. So disrespectful.
@ssmallnov1 Жыл бұрын
@@deltonkillen8024 Sorry you are irritated but you obviously don't understand what I was saying. When people attend shows, and talk nonstop throughout the performance, it's a nuisance to those who want to hear the performance. It's also very disrespectful to the artists, in this case James and Bonnie. It happens too often at concerts, which is why I won't pay the outrageous concert ticket prices and have stopped going.
@deltonkillen8024 Жыл бұрын
@@ssmallnov1 playback. I fully understood what you said and agree completely. I have not been to a whole lot of concerts. After a couple of shows with extremely rowdy audiences, I started picking and choosing small venues to attend. Of course, some artists prefer loud raucous audiences.

Go to a concert in Europe, they listen, then they applaud and go apeshit!
@franciscojavierrodriguezla90415 ай бұрын
That’s right. I’m from Spain and I can say that Europe concerts are quite different. Fans listen respectfully and quietly, and clap and shout between songs. It's something like a secular ritual among a group of friends.

Ok, these two are absolutely awesome. Why would you show a complete lack of respect by hooting and hollering?
IF you had your friends be quiet this would have been golden.

HUGE fan of both JT & Bonnie but the harmonies r waaay off on this duet. I’ve heard him sing this with a Lot of partners & the Best is still w his son Henry!

No. Bonnie never hit a harmonic note that was off. Her choices were eccentric, but I would expect nothing less from her in the way she sings a song, be it fronting or back-up. Everything here worked. Pinpoint phrasing and pitch on point. It even seemed as though it was an impromptu pairing that succeeded because of the admirable poise that each displayed in singing such a well-played and loved song. A perfect rendition, I'd say.
