Been training BJJ/MMA for about 6 years now at a bunch of gyms. You’re a good teacher, you break things down into a very simple way. Loads of guys overcomplicate things, you method seems natural

Great class. Oh at 11:43 if they use their right arm instead you can grab it pull it across and get an armbar. If they yank the arm out, triangle. Probably one of my most used sequence in closed guard.

I'm back training BJJ after time off due to having a Preemie baby, covid and injuries. firstly I have zero interest in teaching or setting up a school going forward , also worry about competing due to age and injuries., also not really interested in talking about BJJ 5 times aday like most people, My why I train is more to do with something to commit too or something to learn new. At brown belt do you need to teach ?

ive done bjj on and off, i did it from ages 9-12 and then for a few weeks when i turned 18. I found it was just too expensive!! I want to know if its just specific to my local spot. what is a reasonable rate for classes? also, how often would you train if cautious about the cost?

i dont agree with the 'never say no when a higher belt asks for a roll' (it says this on their gym wall). No matter what belt you are, you can always refuse a roll. youre the paying customer, its your basic right to decide if you dont want to roll with someone. this is actually an extremely toxic thing to do.
