he has no attack recovery and crazy fast movement speed, nearly dream witch fast, and can do two attacks at a time with his clone. 6 hits is nothing, especially considering the constant debuffs.

tanky survs will be his counter, but nothing else can be done against him. especially since after he gets that first hit, he's still on top of you.

the red zone skill locks their abilities so they can't use it, and you can just bait the perfume easily since his movement speed is so fast

That's sad, but true... This game is survivor sided and community more cares about survivor side than Hunters... You can see it in for example adjustments...

But the leap isn’t OP if you actually took the time to consider his full kit. This is a hunter that needs to be in constant chase and catch up to survivors easily due to how complicated it is for him to get all three stacks in just to deal a single normal damage. The way a survivor should counter him is watch where he places his skill, juke his circle and movements sense the area remains stationary regardless of where he turns, and be aware of what colors you need and need not to dodge. In other words, you shouldn’t be focused on escaping his chase, but rather making the chase happen as long as possible so your teammates have time to decode. If you get chaired, it literally isn’t even that much of a risk due to the fact that he possesses horrible camping abilities.
