Love the taking photos and then packing stuff away idea. Half my closet is things that I don't wear because they don't fit, or I just always gravitate to other things first. Definitely gonna try this. Also going to go through and write down what i like and don't like about each item. 💚 By the way, I just found your channel and I'm loving it 🥰

Oh my gosh, I absolutely love the idea of writing down what makes you like your favourite pieces. I'm also in the phase of my mid-20s life where I no longer want to dress like I'm a university student late for class or going to the club all the time, and have been struggling with figuring out what are the pieces that I like, not just what are trendy

I've gone through that same struggle! Definitely helps to intentionally write down what you like and dislike.

i love your idea for using worn out clothes as pillow fluff 🙏🏻

Aw thanks! It's honestly so easy and takes quite a lot of clothing to fill a throw pillow, so very effective hahah

I’m 100% doing this. I have sooo many clothes in my closet from years ago, some dating back to high school 😭 Finding my personal style has been a roller coaster, especially with some of the bizarre “Y2K” stuff in rn that I’ve felt compelled to buy

Right?? I'm having flashbacks to middle school with some of the current trends lol. But taking the time to figure out which styles I really love and why has honestly been super helpful when it comes to avoiding some of the trends that just won't work for me (for instance, no matter what anyone says, I will never, ever be wearing low rise jeans again haha)

Great advice! You touched on clothing repairs but alterations can make a good piece, great!

Yess, alterations too! Taking your clothes to a tailor is so underrated.

I usually do not know the difference between confy daily clothes and workout clothes. I want to workout more but I do not want to do that in my daily clothes. Do I make a designated workout clothe set? Or what do I do. I do not want to buy a new set and want to wear it all day and not want to workout 😂.

Workout clothing is usually stuff that's not as warm as the rest, not as good-looking sometimes, and often made of fabrics that are meant to get the sweat off your body (because nobody likes being sweaty). They should be comfortable to move in, unlike jeans for example, and not too thick/warm like a sweater. I recommend getting stuff that's branded as being made for exercising in, because the people that make those tend to know how to make clothing that you're comfortable exercising in. You don't need super fancy stuff, just something that you feel good in and can move well in.
