Omg, I do the cross reference as well! It often helps me to determine whether the item is actually for me or not. Also, it's useful to bookmark the same item from different sellers, so you can look out for the best prices and have a back-up for when a seller does not respond. Here in Europe, Vinted is very good, imo.

Anther tip: take your measurements and ask sellers for clothing measurements before buying! Esp if you are tall/petite, curvy or plus size. This has saved my bacon so many times! brands can and do change their own sizes especially if the item is vintage or was originally sold in a different country. Ive been able to thrift so many structured and form fitting items this way with no returns or rethrifts!

A couple of years ago I fell into the world of online thrifting and curated Instagram shops of thrifted goods and clothing as well. It has been an amazingly supportive community to be part of and I have created so many friendships along with selling and purchasing some amazing pieces I would not have found without the online space. ☺️
