I use a bag stuffed with paper to shape my purses. It works well because you can stuff as much or as little as needed to shape each bag. And it's free!

I do that also and it works just as well:)

I love Luxury hauls! It’s like having a stylist! You go through the best of what people have purchased without having to go to the store! Air paper that come in online orders are amazing for luxury handbags and it’s free!

I too love the Container Store, especially when they have a sale, which is where I got hooked on The Laundress products, now I can't live without them. I stuff my bags (designer & non) with the air pillows that are used in packing/shipping boxes. I've used them for about a year with no issues in any of my bags. They keep the shape and there's no smells or sweating. I initially ordered them from Amazon, but now as packages arrive I just save them. Another alternative is a bag organizer I especially like Samorga because of the quality, construction, ease of use and cleaning.

The designer handbags are expensive, they should come with fillers to keep them in shape

I'll have to try the pillow. I've been stuffing mine with grocery sacks.

I learned from another style expert that you should never hang purses because it warps the strap.

Can you link the the eyewear storage? I only see one in boxes and I am trying to find just the storage holder for eyeglasses or sunnies without the box.

Love this video! Don’t we all love the container store❤️. I have one question ....has any one thought about having all your shoes pointing in one direction. It is a matter of feng shui for calmness in your shoe area🙂
@divinestyle_6 жыл бұрын
Commenting as a stylist, the reason why you have the toe then heel direction is so that client's can see both sides of the shoes as typically shoes have the design details in either place. It also is space saving. But depending on your closet you can set it up with whatever works for you.

Don't designer handbags come with a lot of protective doodads, anyway? Maybe it's better to hold on to the fillers and containers they come with. Thanks for sharing this, and keep us posted!

I would definately not trust a "container shop" with stuff to clean my shoes and bags that I spend thousands of dollars on. If they smell vinegary it's because they likely have some acids or alcohol in it. Which, to say the least, is not really great for leather. And essential oils? Why would I put anything that aggressive on leather? It also looks very gimmicky - what's the point in having a different one for bags and shoes? The same thing should be able to clean both. It's the same material, after all. It's just smart marketing that worked on you, as you bought both. Another thing is the amount of waste you produce with these wipes. Not very environment-friendly. There are tons of information how to care for leather clothes out there. Most of the time good quality kitchen oil, good quality shoe cream or paste, a soft cloth and two brushes (one big, one small)) are more than enough. For on the go when you realize that you have a stain on your bag or shoes: just wear a small box of Nivea creme and rub it in with a tissue or toilet paper, and then swipe it off dry with another one. Dirt cheap, leather-friendly and environment-friendly (tissue and Nivea are biodegradable).
