@OohToBeFree i bought the junior size and haven't opened it yet. it's probably be the right size for my t-shirts and tank tops because they're on the small size but i haven't decided if i really want to fold all of my laundry that way or just by hand as usual. i like the flip n fold (regular size) specifically for the clothes on shelves in the closet that can be seen as opposed to those in drawers...

Great organization of a closet! I too LOVE my flip-n-fold, one in the laundry room and one in my closet. You will get addicted to the Huggable Hangers also. If you order them from HSN you can pick from a variety of colors. I picked camel with brass hooks and my daughter picked blue. Lots and lots of fun! Your mud room could have its own color hanger also. Organizing is a lifetime process. I enjoy it a lot. Keep on posting videos!

@VintageChrystelle that's a cute idea for the closet, painting the end wall. i'll keep that in mind! Great idea also for the phone charms as zipper pulls. I have the Ultra Steam Steambrush by Rowenta. It does the trick for me but I don't do a lot of heavy-duty steaming at home. Just use it to touch up wrinkly dresses mainly.

@ioanarm you can do it yourself but it's a bit more time consuming. if you search for folding clothes on youtube some how-to vids will pop up of different methods for hand folding.

I have wire baskets similar to yours-and I don't like how I can see through them. What did you clip onto the basket so you can't see through the wire? I like that so much!

YAY, Jen! Everything is so luvly! You are officially the Queen of Organization! Those Reisenthal bins are terrific for a streamlined, yet pretty look. I only have one, wah! It's a red basket tote type in which I store purses in my closet~that may change . Only thing I maybe would have done is paint the end closet wall with mirror the color of your bedroom. Perhaps put your phone charms on your wristlets and makeup bag zippers? Question, what type of steamer do you use does it work well?

I love everything. I am very glad I came across this video. I am about to start my own project. And for the person who mentioned her man only having a small section, its due to the fact that MOST men do not have a lot of clothes and shoes. My husband is the same way. Ans for the one who mentioned shoes in plastic bins, it helps protect the shoes. Anywho, I will use this for my closets! Love it!!!

i don't know if you answered this. but can you go over HOW you set up the accessory station. I mean the drawers: where were they bought? and what did you use to line them? it looks like acetate of some kind. i like the versatility of this kind of organizer---i don't like the 'wire' look, yet you've done a great job with it. it's making me rethink it :)

@helenpratt00 I lie bras flat one behind the other in a drawer. I do fold my underwear. It doesn't take that much time once you get into the habit of doing it and it makes it easier to see and access them.

Hi Jen, love your closet re-org and wish I had a Container Store near me! I keep my shoes in their boxes as well but plan to add pictures of each shoe to the front so i can easily identify them. Question: with everything so nicely put away and containerised, how do you avoid losing track of what you have (outta sight outta mind)? Do you keep a written or photo inventory of your items, such as the purses & wallets for example? You likely maintain one of some sort for ins. purposes but 4 self? Thx

Your shelves have a frosted glass type lining so your clothes are not sitting on the bar grates, did those come with your closet organizer or is that something you added yourself? I am looking for something like that to avoid bar imprints on my clothes.

@organizedlikejen Your closet is really well organized. The boot hangers looked pretty cool; I've never seen those before. The pull out drawers (at around 20:00), is how I plan to set up my closet for socks and boxers. Lots of great ideas. However, you spent 35 minutes giving a tour of your closet, mentioned how huge your closet is, and how you gave away a lot of things while cleaning and organizing your closet. Have you ever considered that you still have way too much stuff?

This Elfa system is so nice. Did you install it yourself? Any tips as far as anchoring, attaching to studs, etc? I saw the same type of flip flop hanger at Bed Bath & Beyond. It was around $10 - plus the 20% off - for those of us who don't have a Container Store close by.

i'm not very good at organizing my room or my closet (i can organize small things (things within a binder and stuff like that).... i think the main problem which my mom doesnt agree is proper storage containers and hooks and whatnot which will help alot even in small spaces.. i'm not that affluent like you and i have a room the size of your college dorm room.. first thing im going to do once i get a good job after my college studies is to buy good storagey items to organize my room and closet

Me watching this video with my one purse I only use when I travel. Holy Moly - I feel so ungirly right now. 🥴 I have been cleaning out my areas and decluttering because I can no longer maintain a large inventory of stuff because it just does my head in. I want to get down to the point that in the event of my demise, people can shutdown my house within 2 weeks. 😬 I can’t put that burden on others. It’s something that happens as you age (if you don’t put too much emotional attachment to everything).
