Just want to say, I’ve had a very shitty year. I started listening to your music in 2014, and immediately fell in love with it. I ended up not revisiting your discography for the longest time, but over the past couple of months I’ve caught these releases and have ended up catching back up with your music. It’s been helping me get through a very hard time, and I’ll always be eternally grateful for that. As a bit of a side note, I love the versatility you’re bringing to the vocals with this 12 songs project. I know I don’t have much say in what you do, but if you’d take into consideration my opinion: I’d love to hear some more stripped down vocals like the Billie Elish cover you did. This just doesn't feel falsetto, yet having heard your other styles I can see how it fits. I like how its not a simple 2 min song with minimal lyrics as well. The backbeat and vocal overlay is very well done and really gives it the Aesthetic Perfection touch that keeps me coming back for more. I do prefer this style over the screamo style singing personally.

I mean, I dunno how else to describe soft, high vocals with a breathy tone that do not engage the full structure of the vocal folds other than “falsetto”. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And it’s cool if you weren’t into “A New Drug” but it’s literally just one song out of the 8 released this year. None of the others are sparse or short like that one. Either way, glad you like it! Tune in next month for a song that sounds nothing like it! 😂

@@ClosetoHumanMusic I agree. Just seems more of actual singing at a normal tone than pushing a high vocal. Happy face seemed more falsetto than this, but meh, its all singing and you have an unique way of vocalization. I wasnt put off completely by a new drug, it just seemed really simple and short compared to what you have done before. And yes, I will be tuning in to see what you come up with next. :)

I've been an Aesthetic Perfection fan since he was a skinny kid, screaming into the microphone in Los Angeles -- yeah, he's still skinny (I'm jealous). I've stayed with Aesthetic Perfection and watched Daniel evolve with his voice and music stylings. I believe Daniel is going above and beyond, what, most other bands are contending with right now, concerning the Covid-19 stop to concerts and music productions, as a whole -- In so doing, his "12 X12 Project" on Patreon, continues to be a stroke of pure "Genius". Daniel is far too modest to say so, about himself. "American Psycho" is another, instant hit, as far as I'm concerned -- Fucking Brilliant... !!! Like any self-aware artist, Daniel's constantly evolving and developing his own particular stylistic spectrum. We are getting the opportunity to really take a voyage into how he works, what he thinks, and how music in general works -- it has been a complete revelation. Daniel reaches down deeply into a "Psychological 'Private Self-Consciousness' ", no pun or reference intended, with respect to this specific song; but, I haven't actually "watched" anybody else do this. We're privileged to witness a "work-in-progress" and I believe he'll reach the level of success, he desires. I'm proud to support him; especially, when I get carpet-blanket by phone and email campaigns, super saturated by nonprofits to make contributions and I never get to witness any results. Daniel works his ass-off to keep his supporter's and fan's entertained, as well as, informed. Thank you Daniel

I was the same, I saw Lindemann in London just before the world went crazy and the music blew me away. I didn't like the first band that played and my expectations were low, but as soon as the first chord was struck I was hooked. I didn't want it to end. I got home and booked tickets to see Aesthetic Perfection in May and then Feb when the date was moved but sadly it couldn't happen. But I will definitely be booking when touring starts again. Its exciting discovering new music to me from the back catalogue. My obsession at the moment, not including these new singles is Architect 😁
