Ok , here comes the WTF opinion . I put the AWT scales on my Redoubt - and make no mistake - their scales are great , but just liked the knife better with the original scales - weight mainly , I guess . Who knows , after I use the knife for a while longer , I might switch back . Appreciate your reviews , though - thanks .

Erica has a lot to answer for, because of her my para 3 has AWT scales and i'm waiting for the scales for my mini bugout. lol. Love the para 3 scales , makes it a near perfect knife.

Just pick up some g10 scales for the bugout, it makes a YUGE difference!

Noice! Im hoping to pick up a set of those scales for my Redoubt. I've been wondering about the Bugout, it's always looked too small for me, so I'm pretty interested on your thoughts and usage as I feel we have a similar hand size

Doing this . Look how it changed the knife for the better . Reminds me of the conspirator but a benchmade . I usually do the spydercos but this is awesome .

How's the blade coating holding up to testing?

The blade coating on the Redoubt held up well with what I put it through. Granted I wasn't exactly abusing the knife, but none the less, overall, it's good in my book!
