Hi! I was wondering if you knew how to save a cloth simulation so you don't have to re-sim after opening the project? Thanks... :)
@fabienescudero2 жыл бұрын
@@popeopera you can export the simulation in alembic with the export properties. It's explain in the tuts 😊

@@fabienescudero Thanks again...I was hoping to be able to further refine some of the sim properties after the import, which this doesn't seem to allow. 🤔

Just one thing i didnt mentionned in this tutorial : if you want to add extra details in your simulation , use 2 turbulence force ! one with a low scale like 0.1 to make your cloth flying like i made in this tutorial and an other with a higher scale like 0.7 or 1 ! this second turbulence will add extreme small detail ! and if you want to make multiple fabric , just create other mesh like a plane and add them to your birth object ! Enjoy the tuts guys

Fabian, thank you for your hard work! Thank you for sharing your experience with us! This is very valuable! You're also very good at explaining things. Nothing superfluous, everything is available. This week, Yandex Browser added the ability to watch videos in Russian, regardless of the original language. And it's gorgeous! Long life to you and your family!

Great tutorial, as always! Just one note here: On 3dsmax 2022 instead of merging the alembic into the file, I think we should import it. Otherwise, it won't be possible to apply relax or turbosmooth modifiers.

I would love to see how you got multiple fabrics colliding like demo reel at the beginning and end. thanks!
@fabienescudero3 жыл бұрын
In my project its just one plane but with 700 frame so with the force the cloth have self Collison but you can create multiple plane of you want and add them to your birth object like on my windows11 tutorial.

Thanks 😊 and yes of course, you just need to add a collision operator and pick your text :)

Hello, I have a problem. After exporting the Alembic Object, re-loading the Alembic Object and rendering it will cause a problem, that is, it looks like there is an error on the surface. How did you solve this problem, hoping for your help
@fabienescudero3 жыл бұрын
Hello, sometimes, yes you could have problem on surface with the alembic. Try to add a "normal" modifier on your alembic and render one frame to see if it solve the problem. If it doesn't work just render without use exporting in tyflow . Just create a preview to see if you animation looks good and render it
