Chicken shouldn't be washed! Washing it is actually spreading the bacterias present on the surface layer of the skin, into the chicken which can be pretty dangerous. When left on the surface, the bacterias cook away in the pan which is more safe to do 🙋‍♀️

These are my favorite videos, please never stop making them! I saw you using the Mission Carb Balance tortillas in previous videos so I got them, omgosh they are so good, even tastier than their other ones haha. I love that even though Ben is mostly vegan he still eats what you cook, and I love how veg forward your recipes are. I'm about 80% vegetarian 20% whatever I feel like. Who else is watching this after checking Instagram and saw that she delivered congrats, also in my foods class we have been learning about food safety and you aren’t supposed to wash and kind of meat because it can have bacteria on it and it you start splashing the water with bacteria around your kitchen also I don’t think I have ever seen someone make so many different meals and just take so much care with what they are eating.

I discovered a hack with peeling garlic: run it under water. It just washes away and then doesn't take forever to peel! Also tip for the Charlie horse, when it's happening bring your toes to your nose. Engaging the muscle that does the opposite action of the calves (which is tibialis anterior) will force the calves to relax.

Controversial answer: My fiance who's name is also Ben haha hates it when people wash their chickens. His take is that when you wash raw chicken you spread bacteria in the sink and where ever the water drips onto. Plus we're going to cook it anyways
