You also need a long dressing gown or an oversized hoodie, your just popping out shoes e.g. flip flops and your keys by your door every night in halls for the 3am fire alarms in the winter! Always lock your door on your way out if there's a fire alarm!

A good pair of trainers for the average uni day is a must for me, You are always walking around from building to building, especially if you are 2nd or 3rd year and not living in the city center or on campus, your feet will kill by the end of the day if you aren't comfortable. Learnt from a lot of experience haha

Honestly bring your whole wardrobe to uni, and especially if you're going to uni in the UK, BRING A WATERPROOF JACKET. You would be surprised how many people forget this, more perks if it's warm as well.

Most of the time it'll be pretty cold unfortunately especially if you're not used to UK temperatures 😂 (I presume you're coming from abroad since you said fall & bathing suits) It usually gets warmer may/June time so you'll need summer clothes for then but not too many really. If you plan on going to swimming pools or joining a swimming society then you'll need a swimming costume but apart from that its unlikely you'll need one. Hope this helps 😊

I don't know if it's because im at an arts uni or not but id say that 90% of people I see around uni (including me) will just use a tote bag rather than a rucksack. They're big enough for our laptops, sketchbook, note book and hard drive ect. but that's also probably because we don't have textbooks which I remember from sixth form were always super heavy haha!! :)

if you're looking for a way to be comfy in jeans: the levi's engineered baggy tapered jeans are the mvp i literally forget i'm wearing them (would recommend getting them an inch or two larger in the waist i promise it doesn't compromise the fit)

Personally I've never heard of clubs being fussy about trainers you wear. I'm at Leeds uni like lydia. There are some expensive bars that require heels but as a student it's unlikely you'll go to these bars - I know I certainly didn't 😂
