Thank you for watching my videos. Here I am using basic authentication over Internet (as public access enabled on RDS), which I think less secure too.. But this video is focused more on achieving the lab concepts than production ready solution. Infact we can enhance security by enable multiple options like encryption, vpc connectivity etc..

Amazon QuickSight can’t find the query schema. Verify the schema specified in the dataset or in the custom SQL

I couldn't, it's giving an error when selecting the RDS table, 'Amazon QuickSight can’t connect to your data source. Verify the data source connection settings and try again'.

Thank you for watching my videos. There could be two possibilities. 1. If you are using public access check if public access is enabled and inbound 0n 443 is allowed in security group rule. 2. If you are using private check if endpoints are enabled on vpc and security group is allowed to communicate within vpc.
