Just out of curiosity, whenever you do these kinds of voice mods, does the in-game sound test in the vault get affected as well?

Yes! The in-game sound test does get affected. It overwrites any single clip the mod replaces.

I mean, as someone who enjoys both performances, I think it’s unfair to call one the “True voice of cloud” when both actors gave their all when voicing the character. You know? Both are just rlly great :’)

Very good! Just curious though: what did he say in the second victory screen? It sounds like "justice in your day" or something close, but I can't discern it too much.

He said "Just isn't your day!". The original translates to "Better luck next time." but I chose that line since it's close to the translation.

I’m sorry but I’m going to politely decline. I only wanted to do an English voice mod showcase both for Cloud and Sephiroth. In my opinion, Terry sounds better in Japanese (albeit “Engrish”)and the same goes for Kazuya. I’m always used to both of them speaking such language.

Terry and Kazuya often speaks Japanese, though Terry often speaks Engrish.

@@edmondjohnson7286 * Kazuya had English Voice Actors in Tekken Motion Picture; Tekken Blood Vengeance & Street Fighter X Tekken (the 2nd was by Kyle Hebert, Ryu’s EN VA; while 3rd was by Jordan Bryne, also the voice of Jack-X there too) * Terry had English Voice Actors in Fatal Fury OVAs, & KOF Maximum Impact 2 (the latter misnamed as KOF2K6). Since Geese has NEW ENG VA (who is Richard Epcar) in Tekken 7 (including Haohmaru in SCVI, since he appeared in SamSho OVA) so could Terry (part of me said, Matt Mercer (Chrom’s EN VA) could have been suitable Terry’s new EN VA, due to having Jotaro color palette in Smash, while Kazuya has DIO’s palette. Terry did spoke few Japanese dialogues during in-game battle, see KOF XIII taunt & get up animations of him (the dialogue also used by 98 Terry in KOFAS), you’ll here him say “Yaru janai ka./Not bad at all.”

@@edmondjohnson7286 that's by default, mostly for Tekken's case, mainline & Tag, even Nintendo one (Advance & 3D Prime). Outside MI2, KOF did have EN VO in a mainline game XII (a beta XIII), but end up being removed in finalized XIII (unused in AC ver.) & have yet return, due to budget in the beginning of SNK's 2.5D era. SNK needs enough budget to include EN VO in one of their mainline games when the time comes. Marth & Roy was initially stuck in Japanese due to their series' original release date & location, prior to being decided to be no more & gave those who appeared in JP only FE games EN VO since Heroes (chronologically started in NON-FE game Codename STEAM, Marth's case followed by Fate where his SSB4 amiibo usable there).

As much as everyone wants that it's not there decision to make it's square enix and all the other crap they probably had to get permission from a whole bunch of companies just like they had to for the music I'm probably wrong with that am I

It's not possible anymore due to the huge recast of va's and are more likely also union actor's as well
