Cloud JOINS SMASH REMIX!

Pretty cool seeing a PS1 character in a N64 game. 👀 Ryu and Ken were added in a previous version of this unofficial Smash Remix mod. I wanted to focus on Cloud for this video since he was new for this update (And because I've been SUPER busy this whole week, I'm super limited on time atm) but did a super quick showcase for Ryu and Ken too since I never covered them before.

Also Kazuya is hidden in the mod, but only usable on VS. Modes. First, select 12 Char Battle, then change the selection roster to: Custom. Press Down on the Directional Pad to randomize rthe characters until you see Kazuya's portrait, select him and then return to the previous menu and choose VS. Start, and you will use Kazuya. Doesn't have Devil Gene smashes, but also has the EGWF as an input move!

God it would be a treat if they still plan to add more characters. Bomberman would be the PERFECT addition to the roster as a roster of the big 90’s N64 games. Brian from Quest 64 and maybe Rayman since Rayman 2 was on the N64 too.

In all seriousness, it's great to see that Smash Remix hasn't lost its steam yet, and Cloud's inclusion makes sense considering Final Fantasy VII was planned for Nintendo 64, but the limited tech on its cartridges was a turn-off for Square Enix, causing them to jump ship & retool the game for PlayStation. Ryu & Ken are also nifty additions, though I'm not sure what sparked the idea behind their inclusion. Maybe it was Street Fighter II's presence on the Super NES.

Played it, good fun ~ though the dock stage and testing stage graphics glitched out on my system.. also it crashed once, and I think clouds forward air was missing hitbox range 🤔

I was thinking... (solid) snake seems like a good candidate. He already has a ps1 model as well. His alts could reference liquid, solidus, and big boss. Megaman might also be a good candidate for the roster. (Maybe based of "Megaman Volnutt" from Megaman legends). Thats just me speculating, though.

He WILL be the next, He's wad actuslly being developed at the same time Cloud was developed, and he's hidden but you can play as him anyway, just go to 12 character battle, change the character group to Custom, then start pressin D Pad Down on the CSS and he will eventually appear, select him and now you can play as him! If you want to play on VS Mode tho, select Kazuya, leave twelve character battle and just go to VS mode like normal
