When you remember why Joker's victory is the most natural in this game because Sakurai actually designed the aesthetics of Ultimate after Persona 5. It also makes sense that Joker is the first of the DLC pack characters (no Piranha Plant doesn't count as I mentioned DLC pack which PP isn't a part of)

Theres a missed secret here that does get explained by sakurai, if Sora happens to win in stamina mode, it replicates the winning animation from the original series. Specifically when you beat a boss. Itll still transfer over to the regular win screen shown tho after

Underwolrd theme from Kid Icarus (NES) isn't the series theme, but it is associated a lot with the fransmchise. Kid Icarus' menu and credits themes and Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters' credits theme contain the actually Kid Icarus series theme. The other Kid Icarus series theme is Kid Icarus Uprising m's theme which I believe is in the main menu.

If you like 3D Mario or handheld Spyro collect-a-thon games and vehicle building like Besieged or vehicle building in Tears of the Kingdom you'll most likely enjoy the Banjo-Kazooie franchise games. If you like 3D Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, God of War (pre-2018), Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, or any game made by Platinum Games you'll like the Bayonetta trilogy.

It was bad timing really. Given there are a ton of fire emblem characters many of them feeling the same. Frankly you could cut Lucina, Chrom, Roy, and Ike and the roster would still feel like it has enough Fire Emblem characters. And then at least all the Fire Emblem reps would feel distinct and unique like how the Mario reps feel unique and distinct form each other. Fire emblem reps feel too similar with Robin feeling like the only real very distinct one umong them

@@NoBop2000 The problem with Corrin is that he's suppose to represent the Manaketes, but I feel that might be too big for Smash. RPG's are known to have character with a variety of states and customizable weapons. Point is if Hero represents the complexes of RPG's crammed into one character then Fire Emblem character represents the complexes of RPG's spread across Multiple characters. Cloud and Sephiroh maybe seem cooler than the Fire Emblem cast, but thats because Final Fantasy would become more action oriented.

the initial release date for shadow dragon and the blade of light was april 20th, 1990. but it got ported to the switch and localized in 2020, considering fire emblem was a japan-only release. fire emblem was brought to the west after the release of melee, and considering the popularity of fire emblem characters... nintendo decided to redistribute the game on the switch, you're seeing the localized version there
