I finally received an Expansion Pak for my N64 via Amazon a few days ago, and when I played Smash Remix for the first time, I was absolutely blown away. Seriously, this is by far the absolute greatest thing I have ever freaking seen on an N64. THE CREATORS ARE GENIUSES!!!

I guess the characters that had "and/or" were the ones that were just on the list and not taken seriously by the team.

It doesn't hurt me that they will discard Waluigi, rather Smash Remix was right to discard him, the over-request every day became irritating and annoying and he doesn't deserve it. Bomberman is unfortunate, I would have liked to see it, just like the characters that came out in Official Smash like Pichu, Mr Game and Watch, Meta Knight and Hero

This mod is so pure and heartfelt. I get kinda teary-eyed seeing how much creativity and time went into this, it's such a labour of love. As a kid I would draw my own versions of smash bros games with my friends, adding in all these extra characters and stages and imagining their movesets and stuff. As much as I would want everything, it makes sense to have rules set in place and go based on plans. It takes a lot of discipline to be able to not put everything you've always wanted into smash bros. Being able to code stuff in games is very powerful, but you use that power responsibly to make sure everything goes well. Incredible!

Thank you Smash Remix team from the bottom of my heart for adding Goemon and Ebisumaru in the mod. I never thought in a million years anybody would have added characters from my all time favorite video game series Ganbare Goemon/Mystical Ninja in a Smash Bros. mod fully playable with their own unique animations. Let me guess, HeronNobody was the one that suggested and helped added them to the mod wasn't he? I should know because his name is in the credits and we both would discuss about Goemon and other video game related things on Smashboards back in the day.

It seems as if, even though there are Bomberman fans in the team, they don't know about the 64 games, which is a bit confusing. Bomberman Hero and TSA have good models to take inspiration for a good Smash Bros model, there has some ideas for moves that could work and stages from all three games. As Bomberman fan, it's a bit sad to know that it was cut. :( Here's hope for them to go back, but I'm loveing Smash Remix anyway. Thanks for all the hard work!

@@pringles_ssb yeah, my comment wasn't exactly fair, I admit. It's just frustrating, but I understand it isn't that easy. Like I said in the end, I'm glad we have what the smash remix the way it is today. The team have done a really good job.

Very cool stuff, but damn, Chunky Kong could've gotten in? That'd have been awesome. Feels like DK characters get super under-repped, so that would've been awesome to see.
