For any viewers who would like to know both remotes are not bluetooth it's just the little remote is a airmouse with a built-in microphone. I suppose they just threw it in as a bonus. Just type the number on google that is on the inside battery cover of the remote and it will tell what it is. SRC 1406 Remote control.

I just received mine (October 2018), and it is still on the 7.1.2 firmware. Issues mentioned not corrected. I also verified will play Netflix only at 480p. The packaging had a lot of nasty marks, but the unit itself was pristine, except it was shipped with the antenna attached. It appears to have been a recycled return as when I powered it up for the first time, it did not go in to a setup routine, but instead displayed the main menu and everything was in Chinese. Fortunately, I am familiar enough with the settings on these boxes that I was able to change the language to English and proceed with the set up myself. I have a few other complaints about annoying issues. The weather does have my city, but only displays temperature in metric units, not imperial. I specified English, USA, in settings, but that still does not prevent the temperature from showing in degrees C. Also, the front display always shows time in 24 hour format. Cannot get it to change to 12 hr format, even though the internal programs do respond to the 12 hr format setting. Also extremely annoying is the icons in the bottom row you can select as favorites are extremely blurry. I played with different resolution settings, and finally left it on auto. Nothing corrects this issue. Similarly, while you can change the center 3 widgets in the main menu to show different apps, these are also blurry. Cannot explain it, and very, very annoying. As mentioned, both remotes are IR. The smaller remote included with my unit would only power the unit on and off. None of the other functions, including the microphone, would work. The larger remote has a mouse function, but it is a mouse toggle, and not a true air mouse. The unit is downclocked at the factory to prevent overheating. It never even got warm, which is a plus, but I did not get the same results on benchmarks as shown here. The Antutu was 77020, and Geek bench 4 results were way below published results for the H96 max. I have several other RK3399 boxes, and this has the worst benchmarks of all. The others I have are the H96max, the X99, and the MK39. Another giant PITA is the OS acts like a true Google TV OS in that you do not get access to the full Google Playstore. The Playstore access is almost identical to the Nvidia Shield and the Xiamoi MI Box. Many apps I want to use are listed as "not available" for this device due to the launcher. Among these are Sideload and TV App Repo. I did manage to sideload both apps, but then they were invisible in the apps drawer. I had to go in to settings and then apps to rn them. Much to my amazement, shortcuts created with TV App Repo also did not show up in the apps drawer. Nova Launcher and Ugoos launchers would not run. I tried quite a few launchers, and ATV launcher does run, and does show almost all installed apps, but to truly customize it and make it useful, you have to buy the pro version. All these complaints and disappointments, and I had not even gotten to playing any videos. I cannot find any rference to H265, and also HDR. I was also unable to play 4k youtube videos, only 1080p. Bearing in mind that I was already very disappointed with this box, my video evaluations were probably affected. Except for one thing; 4k videos weresometimes choppy when played from a USB stick. I had to use the USB staick as neither Netflix nor KZbin would play in 4K. I also could not get 4k to play using Kodi. Kodi, BTW, came with outdated apps that mostly did not work. I finally loaded the Durex Build into it, and that is working nice. I subjectively have to rank the picture presented as not that spectacular. Sisde by side, the best RK3399 picture on a 1080p as well as 4K displays were the Nvidia Shield and the lowly MI Box. Of the RK3399's, the X99 has the best overall quality, with the H96 a close second. The CR-19 was the least appealing to my mind. The only reason to buy this box is if you need a ton of storage and want to use a SATA drive. Other than that, there is not much to recommend it. I paid $20.00 more than an Nvidia Shield just to satisfy my curiousity, and I really regret the decision to buy it.

I just recieved my Cloudnetgo CR19 and I get a message at the bottom of the screen at times and it says "Abnormal data parsing" any ideas? The Tv Box box plays great good Bench Marks just this messages bugs me. Oh and the Weather on the opening screen kinda sucks. My city doesnt seem to work on this. Cities around me dont seem to work either. I found a couple cities out further seem too. They dont seem to be set. If i hit the weather button it starts over and you re-enter the city that works.Any Ideas?

All Chips/ram are same with H96 Max rk3399 but why benchmark more better in CR19..is there any change after h96max latest firmware..and latest antutu... please make a comparison if available.sir.

The H96 Max RK3399 model CPU is clocked at 2.0GHz, and the CR18 is clocked at 1.8GHz hence the slightly lower benchmarks, but better heat management than the H96 Max.

Widevine support and DDR4 ram are absent. Also I didn't see or hear you mention H265. I see these as additional Cons, especially at this price point. While the Antutu benchmark was superb, the highest I've seen with exception to the Shield, it's not enough to cover for it's shortcomings, at least for me. And I've read that Rockchip has moved beyond the RK3399, focusing more of their efforts for newer technology while leaving some customers short on support. All this combined make this a very guarded buy for me.

No doubt this box has some shortcomings, My aim is not all about getting people to buy, I also like pointing out the cons so that TV box manufacturers see my reviews and improve. They tried to cover some of my complains like stock Bluetooth remote, overheating, WiFi signal speed, but fell short in codecs and SuperSU permissions. I hope they release a new firmware soon. I am quite tired of the same old problems repeating itself. Thanks for the constructive comment though😎

No I have not tried other SuperSU. SuperSu install is always locked into the root of the firmware and usually cannot be uninstalled or updated.

Ha ha! lol that was a blooper actually, I had the Ethernet LAN cable plugged in at that time while shooting video and could stop to correct as it was a long clip. Sorry about that.

Just too high of a price tag. Nividia shield is $20 more. I would just spend the additional $20 for the shield. Thats just me though.

Hit the nail on the head. I'll shell out the extra 20 bucks for a Nvidia Shield over this. To boot the default GUI resembles a cheap 30 dollar Android stick. (I think next to the shield the best choice right now has to be the Zidoo H6 or the Beelink GS. The Allwinner H6 chip is an absolute gem.

The Benchmark for the Nvidea 2017 (143.000) Only the apple Tv 5the Gen. haves a bigger score 199.000. The Nvidea 2017 haves a bigger score than the Apple tv from the 4e gen. I have two boxes like the box in this video. The H96max is the same machine. 1 works greath, the other one haves problems whith the firmware. Screen resolution 1024/600,no Wifi and more problems. The best box for Kodi is the Nvidea Shield 2017 , its not easy to install it on a Apple Tv. I dont make movies for KZbin, its a hobby for me, and I have more then 100 different boxes. The only Chinese box that is good, thats is the h96pro+ whith Android 7.1.2. 3 gigh Ram and 32 or 16 gigh rom, the processor is the Amlogic S912 (65 Dollar) It have a big score in the Benchmark. #Goodluck make a good choiche !! Pay a little more for the Shield, it haves the Tegra processor and its great. (Also whith Express Vpn,Google Beta,Stremio and more) The only thing you need is the Sideload Launcher,ES File Explorer, you can find it in the store from the shield. Sorry for my bad englisch. I still looking for GOOD working firmware for the H96max. All things on internet is... #$%^&%$# Also on the website from this uploader. I like the movies, but not everything is treu.

Remember you cannot get touchscreen function on a TV box. So there are apps that allow you to manually assign buttons on your gamepad or mini keyboard, anywhere on the screen to emulate touchscreen function that allow to to play any game or use any app that requires touchscreen functions to work on your TV box.

There is one thus far, I already tried it out yesterday but it didn't correct any of the issues. I tried to install SuperSu and the box got stuck in a boot-loop, and I used the same said firmware to restore the box back to normal. I'm sure there will will be more in the future.
