Thank you for this Sean. A really useful and informative video from you (again) with perfect timing. I purchased a property and deliberately bought an additional parking space to hit the magic EUR500k purchase price and am now about to start the process of a GV application. However having watched this video I am pleased to see that if I don't have the GVI can apply for a non lucrative visa instead as and when I need to spend more than 180 days a year in Spain which for me many not happen for a number of years yet. Food for thought. I still think that a GV will be the better option for in the long run.

Yes, that´s correct. For people who do not want to become a Tax Resident, I guess the plan is that the standard 90/180 day tourist visa will be suitable.

Spain's Digital Nomad Visa ("DNV") wasn't mentioned in this interview which is ironic because I applied for mine using Manzanares. The DNV is for people able to live more than 183 days in Spain, while working remotely for a foreign company. It comes with its own tax treatment, which, for medium to high earners is very attractive.

Yes, the golden visa gives you the right to live and work in Spain.

What about the digital nomad visa, which many foreigners have been taking advantage of, as it allows them to work remotely and live in Spain. This visa will open the door to many digital nomads who don't need a job in Spain, but make money elsewhere and still live in Spain.

Most Spaniards still can’t afford 500k in euro for housing, but on the other hand, it does affect overall cost of real estate market so in essence it does eventually affect Spaniards. Definitely the North American exodus is what’s causing the spike in golden visa application la and real estate purchase. Our governments are not very appealing at the moment, but frankly neither is Pedro Sanchez

You should probably have spent more time talking about the alternatives. I see no point in taking the majority of the time discussing something that will be discontinued in the near future and therefore doesn't help anyone.
