I would love to hear if there are any similarities between the Swedish buyer and the American buyer because the system that is described in Sweden is almost identical to the US real estate system. It’s all very transparent. Most of the information on the property is compulsory early made available by law And it’s very rare that you need a lawyer involved. All real estate agents are licensed and must take legal courses etc. to maintain a license. Also, the piece around the inspection… if you’re getting a loan, the inspection is mandated by the bank in the United States because they don’t want to hold the mortgage on a property that has issues. So if an inspection reveals problems, the American buyer is also going to expect that we can negotiate to reduce the price.
