Thanks for playing! Love everything about this game. The story, the characters, the world, the technology.. I mean I'm not saying I wouldn't be broke and struggling if Cloudpunk were a real world , but there's something so charming about the overall vibe of Nivalis.

Thanks for playing the entire thing in first person. Love first person exploration or rpg experiences. It seems everyone thinks first person gameplay is just best for shooting games & nothing else.

This game is amazing! Such a simple concept but so engaging. They created a fantastic world with a good story and truely interesting characters. I dream about this game. I wish I could play it, but sadly It doesn't run on mac. Thanks for this longplay!

I really hope there will be a PS5 & Xbox Series X/S upgrade to the game to at least attempt getting close to these graphics. Currently playing it on a PS4 Pro and I'm really underwhelmed in comparison to the footage here. There's no volumetric fog, no god rays, no rain effects (except a flat texture constantly locked to your FOV), no first person driving, way less traffic that barely respawns after you changed districts, locked (and inconsistent) 30 FPS, no anti-aliasing, no way to change the sensitivity of controls, a pretty shoddy implementation of bloom that only works when you directly look at something, no headlights on the HOVA, the minimap symbols slide around when in a HOVA and going by them (instead of staying stationary locked to where the thing is they're poining to)... the list is endless. I kinda regret looking this up because before those didn't bother me as I didn't know how far apart the versions are. And apparently the developers have outsourced the console development to a third party studio with both not really communicating clearly what the future for the game holds. I'm disappointed, which gets even worse because I love the game. (Edit: Had to edit this twice already because I saw new things that aren't in the console version. 😒)

If it wasn't made with pixels it wouldn't have been possible to create a map that is so big and detailed. This kind of atmosferic games with no action don't often have success like other games and can't afford a budget of 100 millions of dollars. Also, it would be REALLY laggy with the car.

Did they have to include some of the dialogue in this? Took me right out of it. The game itself is great though I can do without the rest.
