It's amazing to see how much you add in only one devlog! Mostly I stop watching other devlogs because they become so slow. Like in other logs the creation of the blocks would be the entire video, you show the entire dungeon mechanic in one. I love it. Keep it up!

This is one of the games I'm looking forward to. Keep up the good work. These dev blogs provide trust and proof of product. Will get a sale with me for this honesty and good product.

You should eventually make the level editor available to players to allow them to create their own levels/worlds which they could share with other players. As a bonus, you could use a feature like that to crowd-source lots of interesting puzzles, levels, or islands, which you could choose from to speed up development.

Very nice to see how you’re using the Legend of Zelda games for inspiration for the dungeons. Keep up the wonderful work! 👍

Dungeons sound really fun, you really went into depth (no pun intended (I think!)) on explaining them! Nice work!

This is awesome! I love hearing about what you've tried and why it may not work for your intended outcome. I should be taking notes! Unity has so many systems that I am sometimes too lazy to explore and end up going the most comfortable (and least efficient) route to achieve what I need in my projects. This is really invaluable info you're sharing, so thank you : )

Great update, didn't expect dungeons to be a huge part of the game but it fits in so well 😯 Also cool to see how you're reusing assets to scale out new features. Good luck with the next big update 👏

i know this isn't related to the devlog, but i think the procedually generated overworld looks really weird for some reason. it looks like everything is just unnaturally and haphazardly tossed around (yes, i know that's kinda exactly what's happening).

Big. The girl's character is really pwetty. Why does FPS fluctuate so much? Is there some constant garbage collection happening or inefficient loops?
@Konitama2 жыл бұрын
It's not actually FPS, it's ticks per second (how many times the code is executing per second) so it's not really something noticeable with the actual framerate of the game
