Thanks for your videos. They really help when trying to "cut through the crap" on the websites of each individual service. Your usability insights are very much appreciated. I happen to use iCloud for "historical" reasons, but it is not my favorite.

Use to have a local merchant in the Portland/Vancouver metro area who saying was "Free is a very good price". For this old normal with my Mac's I use Time Machine which is a KISS solution. Only cost is for the hardware you use for the Time Machine backup.

I've got Time Machine set up using Tailscale on my MBP to a RAID connected to my stationary Mac Mini... So from anywhere in the world it will backup thinking there's a Time Machine drive connected to my MBP. Best price: free!

You never mention degoo anymore. For my basic storage and a lifetime purchase price a few years ago at $49.99 for 1 TB, that is hard to beat.

I wonder why you omitted Backblaze.

I wasn’t looking at backup specifically here in this video. But I have talked about Backblaze a lot! 💪🏽

Dropbox is a bit better now but 5 gb storage for a free account makes it useless today.
