8:20 those bird shit leading lines now THATS ART haha. I remember taking senior photos downtown my city and until editing I didn't notice there was a homeless person shitting down the alley.

Nice one man. I have been swaying away from vertical shots aswell. Earlier in my photography journey I realized I was shooting for instagram(hence the vertical shots). But now I am taking photos to document and shoot for myself. I am going to eventually make a book, just for myself and for other people to see it in the future.
@7thEra8 ай бұрын
Yeah it’s funny how we all just shot vertical for social media.

Yo Liam, can you explain why you don't use back. button focusing? I just noticed that you're using the shutter as your focus button.

Watching this has given me a new appreciation for the Fuji exposure dials. Maybe it's just me, but I don't get the impression that using this Sony is a particularly fun experience.
@7thEra8 ай бұрын
Hey, what do you mean by this? I love using my Sony, but I’m not sure what the Fuji exposure dials are. I’d love to learn more!
@sky_0048 ай бұрын
@@7thEra it's probably just my impression, as I don't really have experience shooting Sony, but the way you always dive into the menus, set this, and that, set exp comp to this, that, it just looks to me like the camera gets in your way, takes you out of the zone for a moment - on Fuji, all the important stuff relating to exposure is literally it's own dedicated dial, so after a while of using that system, you don't even have to pause or take your eye off the prize, you just turn the right knob to instantly get what you want out of the camera. ISO? Check. Exposure comp, check. Shutter speed? yep. Aperture? On the lens most of the time. And on top of that, you still get the dslr-style command dials of the sony/canon/nikon etc. to fall back on. It's really neat.

There’s plenty of royalty free music platforms that you can use man! But also don’t feel the need to have music, I’m glad you also are enjoying the chill vibes 🤘

14:53 Body doesn't matter but explain what lenses you use and what type of shots to get with them. like planning ahead "I want these shots today/night and this focal length or lens will get us there. options for cheaper alternatives. Gear to not just do street photos but what you can use to make pov videos while they do it. I know it's basically "Gopro" chest phone mount but anything else. or even just giving a recap on your most insane or favorite ones you've got with any commentary about them. Taking something, an object or photo that is ugly or shit and trying to re engineer a way to make it look good; changing your flow or mindset to get more creative. like the cancer tree on the left, shooting macro or a long exposure at night throwing a flashlight in the air lighting it up or climbing the tree and shooting down, shooting a Timelapse or you planning it ahead to bring a sleeping bag and stuff and model as a homeless person sleeping there lol. capturing the moment/image vs creating one

if it was a course what would you charge or if it was a video series you did for this channel would the promo of the viewers/people taking the course be enough value in return for you?
@7thEra8 ай бұрын
Hey man! I’m definitely going to be launching a course at some point. I’m focusing on other parts of my business/life at the moment but it’s awesome to see that you are interested in this. I would most likely host a class online that is interactive as opposed to a one time course payment as most people never finish online courses. So if I was to ever do one, it would be in a way that makes you actually go out and learn instead of buying a random course that never gets completed. Hope that answers your question, feel free to DM on Insta if you have any other questions and I’ll try my best to get back 🤘
