The rest of the penguins moved to this island, where a replica of the original island was made. Now, global warming is taking it down. No where else to go. Time to go down with it... With the home. The island slowly sunk as the penguins went down with it. So long club penguin.

I only found out it was shutting an hour before it happened as I hadn't been active since the cp awards which was ages ago. I regret that so much. Coming online at 8:00 and reading all my postcards from the friends I loved so much saying best friends for life (their way of saying goodbye) broke my heart and made me determined to find them. Every single server had a buddy in and I spent most of the night searching servers. When I finally found two pretty good friends of mine I lost connection and then when I came back on one was offline and the other in the docks which was full. Everyone else on my friend list who I wasn't close with but would have been nice to see were in the snow forts or the docks both of which were full.I finally managed to get into the town but I was sooo mad at 8:58 I lost connection and when I tried to get back on practically every server was full and I wanted to be surrounded by people. When I finally got back onto beanie it put me in the gift shop (I was the only one there) I tried to make my way back to the Town but the second I tried the orange box came up to say I had lst connecion and to waddle on. I cried for the whole night. All the private servers are rubbish. And nothing will replace my amazing friends, memories, jobs, igloo, clothes ectra

I played the original club penguin when I was 5 to when I was about 12, when it shut down I felt broken, then club penguin rewritten came out and I got to meet some of the people I had been with for ages since the beginning, It's hard to see it gone. My childhood ripped from me again. Club Penguin will always be in my heart. I miss it. Then rewritten came back, and I almost cried. The community was almost like a team. But then, it's been taken away from me again. ****** You Disney. Ruining childhoods like that, then coming back, but then feel like you want more money, as if it's not already a billion dollar company. Now you're just playing with everyone's mind. I remember I played CP all the time when I was young. I missed the shutdown of it. When I heard about it, I was so heartbroken as Disney shut down my favorite childhood game. I found out about CPR, and I was happy. I played it a lot. And now, I missed the shutdown again. I am sad. Thankfully, it is coming back.

Tragedies happen in 2018. But, 2017 was the worst year for all people. The earthquake, typhoons, and the bombing of the Ariana Grande concert. But, things just got worse in 2018. Everyone dies, Stephen Hawking, Anthony Bourdain, Avicii, and the founder of Toys "R" Us. I hope 2019 will be good.
