I didn't know all of what was going on, but as soon as they added a "mature server" where people were allowed to swear, use derogatory and sexual language, etc., I knew it wouldn't be long before it came crashing down. Disney is very protective of their property, even stuff they're not currently using, and there was no chance that they would be allowed to continue with that even if Riley hadn't been a predator

I will never forget Lily0926…37. We met in the late 2000’s. On Club Penguin. Everything was going well. We’d go around everywhere. The pizza place, dojo, disco club, the plaza, and the iceberg… But then one day she did the sad/hurt emoji and I asked, “What’s wrong?” And she repeated it. She kept only responding with the hurt emoji and waddling away from me. Then I started waddling after her spamming the hurt emoji. It was at the iceberg when I last saw her. She did the hurt emoji once more and logged off. She didn’t log back on for what felt like weeks… And I waited until eventually I saw her online. Sadly the penguin population was full for the one she was on and I couldn’t meet her… That was the last time I ever saw her log on. And that was the first time my heart was broken. There were also rumors that Infinite installed malware on people's computers, but that may or may not have been false. - Toontown House, one of the previously mentioned servers, actually DID install malware, specifically a keylogger - There was some drama a few years ago about the Toontown Rewritten dev team hoarding never before seen content from Toontown Online's development, such as unused design concepts and footage of early gameplay. - There was a spat between the head moderator of the Toontown subreddit, OtakuSRL, and I think one or two other people, which resulted in him doxing one of them and getting them fired from their job, then going on a power trip in the subreddit by deleting everything and preventing people from posting, which got so out of control that the admins had to get involved.

Club Penguin Private Servers (CPPS for short) have actually been around in some shape or form since 2008-2010. They did not magically pop up after Club Penguin shutdown. What did happen in 2017 though is that the CPPS's shifted from being more hacking/mature focused to friendly remakes of the game as everyone wanted the original experience.

Tw for Sexual harassment and grooming I was not a victim of Riley, but rather one of the pedophiles that was let into the server, there was several of them but one of them caused me the most trauma. I was around 12 or 11 years old at the time, and was feeling lonely, so, I went into the pizza parlor. There was a group of boys there that I started talking to them, one guy asked me to go to his igloo with him. His username was "bunno" and... he basically made me do stuff with him, or else he would self harm. And I felt obligated in it. I'm 15 years old now, and it still scars me to this day
