@LaShanda Allen Redmon I don't care. If my brother did something that low-down and dirty, I'd never forgive him for that. If I found out he did that in the past... At the very least I'd completely disown him. At most, I'd beat him to near deletion. Some things you just don't forgive. You're not gonna risk my mom's life and then be forgiven just because you're sorry way after the fact. How I know that you won't do that to me or my children if your back was against the wall?! Nah. This was a good interview. Very unexpected. Everyone has a past; no one is perfect; he’s not taking pride in the decisions. The money overruled logic back then, apparently. (Acceptable, absolutely not. But that’s his truth.) He opened up and shared a lot. We honor you for that King. Negative comments: Why listen to the interview in its entirety; only to criticize everything stated, wasn’t in the manner you wanted. Allow respect and positivity to supersede the lack of support for a show and guest that represent us. Love, light and endless prosperity beautiful people. 💛✨

I really like seeing a man who’s been in prison NOT want to go back. My kids dad has been in and out of prison for over 24 years. Our daughter is 23, he’s not been out for any of her birthdays, not even the day she was born. Now he’s 44 yrs old, still in prison and still making plans to “start” life when he gets out. He’s missed 23 years of our kids lives. They don’t even know what it’s like to have a dad. Being that Mendeecees still wanted to keep the relationship with his kids was amazing.

I see no reason for backlash. He was candid, respectful, he didn’t out anyone, so I cannot see what kind of problem anyone could have. But that means nothing because sometimes people look for issues. Before watching this full interview I have to say, I really admire Mendeecees. I never was an avid watcher of Love And Hip Hop but I seen clips over the years on TV and KZbin. Almost 10 mins in hearing how his life started out and seeing where he is now it's very admirable. Given he didn't have any positive male role models. He's a family man now and he's very calm and he stands tall on his beliefs. I see some of this from his son and daughters KZbin prank videos 😂 But I noticed his unapologetic stance from the Love & Hip Hop clips I seen.

I Love my brother and am grateful for his genuine friendship. This man is a blessing to many. I have never seen him say no to a picture request from a fan. Also, he is an amazing father and husband. Great example of why we can’t judge people on their past. Glad he got to do this interview and people get to know him like I do. Humble as they come. 🎉🎉🎉
